The 5foot Olympic bar I put in my Rogue rack stands. I am 4’9” tall female. I find the 5foot bar very useful. It weighs about 35 lbs. I think all membership gyms should have them. I also have a full squat rack with a variety of bars 6’ and 7’ that I use. Your son is very lucky to have your training skills and support to get him started with proper form, etc.
