Rolex most UNDERESTIMATED sports watch?

Hello everybody, welcome to my KZfaq channel!
My name is Aleks and in this video I give you my thoughts on why the Rolex Yacht-Master ref. 126621 is one of the most underestimated sports watches from Rolex.
The Rolex Yacht-Master 40 ref. 126221 features a stainless steel and everose gold case and bezel and this version in the video has the chocolate brown dial.
It was released in 2019 and was the upgraded version of the 116621 which is basically exactly the same watch with a different caliber.
I go throught the history of the Yacht-Master such as references 16628, 16622 and116655 and also talk about my love for this model.

That's the best looking Yacht- Master i've ever seen. It has that "Root beer" look about it. I still have the original Yacht- Master from the early 90s but i rarely wear it because it's a bit flashy, but this is so beautiful. (And you could wear it with almost anything on a daily basis)

Mine's been on my wrist for a year now, and I love it. It's one of those things you have to hold in your hand. It's beautiful. It also has mass!

Agree completely! I tried it a while ago and that dial is next level. Though I prefer a chocolate dial Daytona 😅

I own the blue dial 116622 and LOVE it! I feel it’s the best looking Rolex in the current catalog.

Great quick review as always. If you are going for a dressier sports rolexpeace in TT this is the best choice. So classy and elegant. I would personally go for the TT sub in black/yg. That one is more under the radar than the bluesy.

I own the exact same model and colour since Nov 2020. I went in to the store in Melbourne, saw it on display…wore it and was amazed by the beauty…it was spectacular to say the least…..the case is of Daytona which is thin and curvy….gives it the right elegance…I have had it for a bit over 3 years and I still get excited to wear it everytime….its a very versatile watch as it can be worn for sports and even formal events.Its a light weighted watch…but it’s the feel of it when you wear it….

I received a vintage RootBeer 16713 for Christmas. The dial is very similar to this one. Stunning in the sun light.

Great review. I’ve had the platinum dial version since 2017 (2013 model). I go back and forth on it some months where I want to sell it for various reasons. However I foolishly wore it on my wedding day so I can probably never part with it 😂

I recently picked up the black dial version of this watch it’s my first watch with gold so far I’m really enjoying it but I am always aware it’s on my wrist trying my best to keep it looking fresh and not beat up. Thanks for the closer look at the YM! I'm sort of in line at an AD for one of these, I let them know that i'd be interested in either, with priority going for the chocolate dial. I haven't seen either of them in the flesh, and I likely won't be able to see them side by side to make a comparison. I currently have a 5-digit submariner, so I thought going chocolate dial would be less redundant, but i'm not 100% certain. Something tells me that the black dial is more versatile, being able to dress up or down, but that chocolate seems to exude a bit more class and elegance.

Can’t go wrong with either one! Choco dial blends in better while the black one is a bit more subtle

i have a chocolate dial ... bought from an AD 2020.... its wayyyyy better than black...n i'll tell u y.... black is in matt black which i not like GMT... also choc has sunray appearance which pops up and plays with light much better.... but most importantly choc just blends in beautifully with the rose gold...don't even be confused ...hope that helps.

I like it better if we can see the watch on your wrist while talking, like in the Cartier video. It shows what it is like from a somewhat normal distance and/or position.

I love this watch! The rose gold against the brushed steel with the chocolate or black dial is beautiful. But should I use a professional Rolex for global navigation, I would not use any watch with gold as the 904L steel is much better suited for the job. Second, unless I am using the watch for diving, which is an absolute must to use as I would only trust a Rolex - I would not get the Submariner or Yacht Master but a Rolex GMT or GMT-II so aid in determining my sighed object's GHA and my LHA positions as well as what time it is back home if not on the prime meridian.

Have you tried the 37mm? I imagine I would sell almost everything if they released the 37 with black dial and bezel. Haven’t tries it though.

37mm is nice and definitely works on my 16.5cm wrist. Would I choose it over the 40mm? Probably not

Why is the winding crown in Silver? Shouldn't it be rose gold like the two-tone Rose Gold GMT Master II " Rootbeer" watch?

Great review as always! Personally, I’m not a huge fan of the yachmaster, it’s shape has never appealed to me, nor the colour schemes. Having said that, your arguments are very persuasive!… I’ve never had the pleasure of wearing one; perhaps that might chance my mind!

Sorry but Rolex and all their ADs are all BS artists! it a waste of time trying to buy one so go buy something better for way cheaper.
