99% of the people who buys a rolex dont like their design or dont care about its functionality, they just want that brand recognition...thats it.

A function that solely tells you the month seems pretty useless. If you don’t know what month it is, you have bigger problems.

I believe it also works with the date window to make sure that each month ends with the correct 30/31.

An annual calender offers the advantage that you dont have to reset the date every two months because of the alternating length. Of course you can see the day.

Bullshit watch ,bullshit company Glashute Original,JLC,Tag Huer,Omega,A lange &Sonhe etc Offer more complicated usefull complications watches ,In Affordable Watches Casio (F91 to Oceanus,Wide variety of Digital watches ,G shocks,Protek,Edfice's,Enticer's etc) and Citizen watches offer more complications All Rolex pieces look same Only good looking ones are Oyster perpetual, Milguss,Air King

People like to act high and mighty but most of the price comes from the name and that is pretty important to most , also the ordinary man does not know what those brands are , but they do know that successful people have rolex

First point, personal view (even with an obvious tint of green 😉). Second point, completely untrue. The most successful watch and luxury business, period. Everything produced is sold at list and everyone who wants one has to join a long queue. Shareholder’s dream. BS for customers, yeah, BS company, nah.

@@brettrun8575 there are always shareholders (doh!), including and especially in a privately held, or in this case, a conglomerate of companies (e.g. Tudor is an obvious one). Each of the companies owns shares in one another. The holding company is Rolex SA, and Rolex SA is 100% owned by the Hans Wilsdorf Foundation, a charitable trust, which means they pay no taxes under Swiss Law, as it is ‘non-profit’. Über complex.
