So many other watch restoration channels are afraid to clean the dial to the extend you did. It's always bothered me how they just lightly wipe it off and call it good or say its not dirt when it clearly is. So I really appreciate you actually did fully clean it.

Yes, this is so far the first I have seen muster enough strength to actually clean the dial.

he did remove the print though i.e. went too aggressive... also, the reason many don't go so hard with dials is because these old one have a particular varnish/laquer on them, the pitting happens under that. now there's no more protective layer and the dial will look bad in much MUCH less time. Dial restoration is a lot more work than cleaning it. especially this aggressive

@@AdrianCiubotariu if you watch in the beginning, because of the moisture it took over the years, print was already removed in a lot of places

It's very good that you don't say anything in the middle of the video and the sound of the watch parts makes you feel relaxed. The cartoon is great👏👏👏

Somehow I missed this one. What a transformation. I was particularly interested in the dial work as I need to do something similar to a King Seiko. Thanks for the cool videos.

I'm just getting started in restoring watches, but I have one that is important to me that I would love restored. Would you like to do a video on it? I can arrange to cover any expenses for it. Thanks!
