I love the commodity shed and the roller. We use an old grinder mixer and put the ration back in the bin ,and shovel it into the loader or fill 5gal pails, BUT I don't have a custom grow yard I just feed my own cows and calves so the most grain I would feed is 2500lbs/day. I'd like to build a shed and feed DDG but us farmers all understand next year. Love the vids

Rotogrind makes a grain mill setup, which just like the hammer mill on your 760 except without the tub- Not sure what it would cost, or if you could retro-fit yours to crack corn? They tell me on our Highline Processor you can run whole corn through it because it will crack it as it goes though the fine chop unit.

Hi. I have been following your channel for some time now. Very impressed with your cattle management. Could I please ask you your ration formulations. I’m curious of the %’s of DDG, milled corn and hay you use. I’m guessing that you utilise a grower ration? Hope you could respond. Cheers.

I'm a electrical contractor, I haven't done any three phase work like that in a few years, but knowing how much materials have gone up, a long with the cost of labor, I would say you got a pretty good deal

Love the setup. Question on the corn price you mentioned. you have said several times that you buy it lower but still charge yourself the higher price. What does that mean, exactly? what benefit is that? How do you like your propane powered truck?

because i feed cattle for a business, so its just marking up a product for profit, its not powered on propane

I'm not trying to sound arogant I was just wondering, since the main ingredients in the ration are hay and corn silage, why not supplement in gluten instead of adding more corn. Is it just personal preference or do you notice a big difference in weight gain?
