I actually caught the Stones rehearsal. It was literally 2 blocks from my apt. Heard this awesome band playing what I thought was cool Stones song. The sound and playing was to good so took a walk, and wow the Stones were in front of me. Everyone was cool and I got to watch them for almost an hour and change. Charlie was a complete gentleman and Keith was cracking jokes and I got to give him a hug and shake his hand. Thought he’d find it strange with me going to hug him but he wasn’t. A big check mark off the bucket list...🇨🇦✌️

After all these years Bill Wyman fitted in like probably no other bass could after him, but for tracks like this Darryl Jones is ideal.

And afterwards the band (alas not Mick, Keef or Ronnie) headed up the The Stones Club on Queen St. where my band was booked for about a month solid. Cool beans. Cool memories. Around 2002 (or so) for the dude who asked in the comments.

...do you truly care who I know, what shows I was in, what shows I was back stage watching, that moment gone and s'in tha head, slow bullet I am; dripping and dread; thus I must share something worthy of my friends here. I have seen them so funked out and groovin' and I have seen them too inebriated to play; then again who would want to follow the Puset Dart Band, Gary Wright's Dream Weaver and at their very best- Foreigner, so awesome they were... by the time Mick bit off the tip of his tongue, got his swagger on, while many of us just run and gun... yet what Rosa had inspired, was before she became so forlorn that another inspired me with her art, so scrappy and besides, it is not a contest, I already did that, this one for Rosa, Luana-B and my doppelganger, neck in noose and left to swing from the hanging tree... for my dear friends both now, Rosa & Luana-B, because a man can love and not be in love, a man can love -love itself; intimate n lively, in the moment, peace can be... baby- “Yes We Dance, You And I” And we laugh like mischief’s children, Down by the beach’s narrow end Where the sand is thin To the forest grass- Green branches swing Mossy limbs above us, Leaves that twinkle tonic Sunshine in a hush. Gentle waves roll in symphonic. Tides are whispering- A turquoise rush…. Our shadows swagger as we sway. This moment loves us. Stretch the day. Yes, we dance, …you and I. Talk of passions we deny, Such truths that glimmer In our eyes; Neither thunder strikes Nor muted skies, Can cheat this moment, Bliss of sighs… No kiss dismissed as a surprise; Joyous yet, we all know why- This happiness can make you cry. Yes, we dance, …just you and I. ~lento amor~ By RaVen DaWnand now for a feeling I will not question for GMoore115...
