Very first playthrough of Baldur's Gate 3 on the PS5. Let the thirsting begin.

About Baldur's Gate 3:
Baldur's Gate 3 is a role-playing video game with a single-player and cooperative multiplayer element. Players can create one or more characters and form a party along with a number of pre-generated characters to explore the game's story. Optionally, players are able to take one of their characters and team up online with other players to form a party. Like previous games in the Baldur's Gate series, Baldur's Gate 3 has turn-based combat, similar to Larian's earlier games Divinity: Original Sin and Divinity: Original Sin II; all combat is based on the Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition rules

Depends on the playthrough and what character I’m role-playing: My first playthrough, my hedonistic, power-hungry, part-illithid Storm Sorcerer was willing to see what other gifts the Emperor could offer 😜😍 But my self-righteous, evil-shall-fall-before-my-godlike-smites, never indulged in illithid powers Oath of Vengeance Paladin? Nope! 😡

LOL to be fair, your companions probably thought going to prison was one way to sneak into the city safely. Prisons in every act hold secrets too! Although you tend to find them without getting arrested anyway lol.

It's very normal to feel overwhelmed by amount of content and quests in this act. It gets easier though, just take it slow and enjoy as plots unravel. There's still so much to discover. Also, I totally get that you want to move on, but just as a heads up, there's one very short quest you missed in Rivington that I think you will really want to tackle next time you're back there. You already noticed that Scratch was mentioned at post office. You missed area just outside of the post office where there are kennels and some dogs that you will really want to check out.

Hey Kim, next to the place with pigeons, there are cages with dogs, you can go there with a scratching post

I love your new background lights! I agree the blue looks pretty, that was so funny when it was delayed and seemed broken. I love how Gale and Astarion don't have the strength of Karlach so they never want to jump as it'll hurt them - poor Jaheria unable to make it later too. Your reaction to that was so funny! As was the "why aren't you green" and the Mean Girls quote, that made me laugh out loud. So did "Well met, citizen Fluffington." and Jaheira's cover story, quick thinking on her part. Your cackle when stealing is fantastic as well as your constant 'I'm poor, I need money!' lmao and the ensuing fight when caught. I found it funny that Astarion was too short to shoot and arrow from the roof haha. Thanks so much as always for a fun and funny video! I do just have one important question. Even as a Mind Flayer, if the Emperor WAS wearing the toga...would you have romanced him? ;) ;) ;) :D

Is she supposed to make something? I've only ever seen her say the same line over and over again.

@@caseyhastings9219 Sort of. She's supposed to turn into a merchant where you can buy soup. It's not very interesting, but at least it isn't the same line of dialog over and over again.

@@AndreaP_N7 I'm pretty sure that only happens after certain camp event. Which Kim didn't reach yet in her playthrough.

@@UrbanVarsek If you're referring to one certain version of that scene, then that isn't it, because I haven't had that version in my playthroughs.

@@AndreaP_N7 Not that specific version, just any version of that cutscene. In my latest playthrough Yenna started selling soup only after that scene.

LOL the jumping distance is based on their STRENGTH stat. So they cant jump far if their STR is low

Another very enjoyable video, thank you 😊 I also was charmed by commander Lightfeather and the other pigeons, the voice acting was so on point. The kennels are adjacent to the post office, behind a locked door/fence, if you’re looking for some more Scratch story. Speaking of Scratch, he was able to join you on the rooftop because he climbed up the vines growing on the wall of the monastery (I know, dogs climb vines??), but that does bring up a quality of life tip: If I don’t see an obvious path, I click the ground where I want to go, and my party blithely charts a path to it (or I get a message that it isn’t possible). I too was nonplussed by the Emperor-(For me, initially took the form of a beautiful elven maiden)-then revealed to be a mindflayer, a manipulative entity that.. had saved my life more than once. I still liked it, but trust no longer came easily.
