Very first playthrough of Baldur's Gate 3 on the PS5. Let the thirsting begin.
In this first part of my Baldur's Gate 3 playthrough, I'm going in completely blind. I invite you to join me as we explore the game world and see what surprises await us. Will our party survive the dangers of Baldur's Gate 3? Find out in this video!
About Baldur's Gate 3:
Baldur's Gate 3 is a role-playing video game with a single-player and cooperative multiplayer element. Players can create one or more characters and form a party along with a number of pre-generated characters to explore the game's story. Optionally, players are able to take one of their characters and team up online with other players to form a party. Like previous games in the Baldur's Gate series, Baldur's Gate 3 has turn-based combat, similar to Larian's earlier games Divinity: Original Sin and Divinity: Original Sin II; all combat is based on the Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition rules

The record scratch sound effect when Astarion came up and said the small child wasn't welcome was AMAZING. Your edit skills continue to be the best, for real. It was so funny that on the beach you ended up pissing off both sides, I'm still not really sure why but at least it wasn't too hard of a fight at this point. I love that Lae'Zel stood up to Vlaakith and it'll be interesting to see where things go from here! Thanks so much for the video, getting to watch you play this game always brightens my day! :)

She had both sides fight her on the beach because she tried to side with the Stone Lord, therefore showing the Guild that she *wasn't* on their side. I've accidentally ended up having to fight both groups on the beach before, but I reloaded, so it'll be interesting to see if this has some effect on things later.

out of curiosity i looked up jaheira's age in this game and in baldur's gate 1 & 2 (not really a spoiler), she's 146 in this game, and 21 in those games. i didn't realize the time between the games was so long. i guess half-elves live a lot longer than humans.

As always, a very fun episode and I agree with previous comment that your editing skills are excellent and really highlight your very enjoyable reactions. That Air Myrmidon is a formidable form, very sweet!! My favorite class is Sorcerer, but I always envied Wizards and Druids that could Conjure (or Transform into!!) Elementals. For one of my Honor runs I took a few levels of Wizard before multiclassing into Sorcerer, just so I could learn all those conjure/animate dead spells from scrolls 😄 Sorcerers get their power from Charisma, but Wizards get more spell slots from high intelligence, so for the first time I had a smart Sorcerer and a charming Wizard-made a great party face and often had multiple dialogue options (Sorcerer tends towards scary and Wizard is kinda nerdy). This area-and Act 3 in general-benefits from swapping companions around, not necessary, but does add content and context-with the downside of slowing the overall flow of the game. Setting aside the unique dialogue companions have when they enter a new territory, Gale, Shadowheart, Astarion, Jeheria and Lae’zel all have plot moments with dialogue, some minor, some major in this Rivington area, making it difficult for first-time players to get the full experience (but making for really cool 2nd and 3rd playthroughs 😄) Still, a little judicious swapping around might be useful in this Rivington area-Shadowheart to find her connection, and later Jaheria for her meet-up for her Harper folks. But main thing is you be you and enjoy the game (the best game ever!) however you want 😄 …do people really enjoy watching you pick camp supplies, or is that a personal obsession (not judging 😂)

Sorcerers have some crazy dialog options, though I played a wild magic sorcerer, so maybe that made the dialog even crazier. There was one about turning into a table that I thought was pretty funny.

@@AndreaP_N7 didn’t thing about subclass differences, that’s kinda crazy!-my favorite is Storm Sorcerer, so probably gets the more generic “I am magic incarnate” statements.
