I always find myself worshipping God in tears at the truths about Gods love in every one of these studies. Sometimes i feel my heart cannot contain it! I never understood before as i am understanding now. Thank you Lord for the Book of Romans. Thank you Dr. Lawson.

The coffee looks inviting if I may say also with the fellowship. Hope this does not sound carnal.

Just to make sure I understand. Romans 5:10. “For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life”. It uses the word “were” twice. While we were enemies, we were reconciled to God. In other words, we were enemies, we were reconciled, both past tense. Also uses the word while, in the midst of being an enemy we were reconciled. This means we were reconciled as still being unbelievers ??? Jesus removed the enmity first between God and man. Think about it. We could say Enemy = unbeliever. Enemy doesn’t sound like anything close to God, certainly not a believer. So by replacing it in the verse..we get: While we were unbelievers, we were reconciled through the death of His son….
