Why does Scientology deny the disconnection policy? I experienced it myself. They pressure you into it. I was brought into an office with a higher level Scientologist, and given a song and dance about how I was at risk if I didn’t disconnect from a certain member of my family. I was coerced into dialing the number. The person didn’t answer though, thank goodness.

my wife and I were on the Atlantic City,NJ boardwalk and these people promised a steak dinner (big blackened filet)! at that time in 1989 200 bucks to sit through one of the recruitment things. suppose to be an hour and lasted 3. you were not free to leave but on the good side we did get the meal! they wanted most of us to go in a van we passed saying we were leaving later that night. all the people there were totally freaked out. great steak tho!!!

I believe that Ron was abusive to his family. I think that this is the reason why David resorts to violence. I left the Methodist church about 10 years ago and converted to the Catholic Church and not one did any of my Methodist friends stopped talking to me or spoke ill of me. Close friend of mine, no faith denomination or anything prior to this, was put into a Scientology rehab. And paid 30,000$ for the privilege. So, he came out from there and yeah by lack of being able to use, was clean. He immediately came to my home to show me how good he's doing. So, he starts ranting about some weird stuff. I kinda shrugged it off because hey, he was clean. Then said I want to show you some therapy exersizes. Sure... So he grabs tell chairs. Puts them face to face. About three feet tops apart. And has me make eye contact for like ten minutes to start out at. I can't do anything but blink. Each time I itch my nose or flinch I "fail". What I saw was imposing your will onto someone else. A sociopathic like training. It just blew my mind how much this cult focused on being dominating to others. Just sick. It's one example and may not mean much to others but to me, it was enough

With respect to Scientology, the over abundance of "unsolicited" and "voluntarilly submitted" (yet seemingly professionally produced) videos that all seem to coincidentally attack ANYONE and EVERYONE who expresses a fact or opinion even remotely unflattering about the organisation makes one thing ring loud and clear in my mind.... "Me thinks thou doest protest too much!" At one time I was psyched to hear there was such a thing as scientology. I had no idea what the hell it was. I found out at some point it was a religion of sorts but couldn't find any information about it. This was back in my late teens to early twenties in the mid-ninteeneightes... Long before the days of smartphones, flatscreens, wifi, pc's, gps, or the internet(as we know it today, anyway), so there was no way to just "Google" something. I had no idea it had anything to do with those abstract commercials on tv that gave no real information about some book anyone who had anything to say about this new age, earthy-crunchy, hippie, Moonie, hare crishna sounding cult book called dyanetiks written by some lambchop wearing, creepy sounding, dirty looking old man(as in giving off a pervy vibe as far as every adult I knew was concerned)- in fact, so concerned that when I asked if I could get it, my parents and grandparents lit me up and forbade me from even attempting to read it or learn anything about it fearing its cult like followers and worries it'd have the appeal to someone, ANYONE who was impressionable, or curious and naively trusting and innocent in the ways of the world could be susceptible to being beguiled, deceived, and/or, somehow, wholly seduced(to coin a phrase from a translation of a verse or two from the Book of Genesis regarding Eve's explanation of how she came to eat fruit from the tree of life as a result of her intercourse with the serpent - which although short and benign( to hear Eve tell it), it definitely had some long term effects and repercussions). SHIT... Somewhere along the way I seem to have veered off track and forgot what the hell the whole point of this shit was about, so, as confusing and/or pointless as this may seem or sound, im just hitting SEND, and let the chips fall where they may- otherwise, I wasted 20-30 minutes all for naught! Yes, the one and only true religion Is called physics. it's written in mathematics, and its resident Pope or Vicor is none other than the prophet, Albert Einstein!
