I love the irony of how he wants everything the government does to be privatized, but he also hates how private companies spy on him for ads.

that's not irony at all. He wants things privatized because they run more efficiently and are healthier for an economy. Spying on people is illegal, which government does anyway. It's illegal whether it's government-owned or privatized. Private business and spying on customers is not synonymous.

@@Viruz32 I did not say they are synonymous. When unchecked by government, SOME private businesses will exploit any means necessary to increase profits. If government were dissolved as Ron wants, nothing would be able to check the power of private businesses and invasion of privacy would become worse. That's the irony.

@@blazethefaith You're kidding right? You think the right to privacy is protected, and even actually MONITORED by the government? Government does not monitor any of that shit, how could they? It's a private business. They gotta follow health codes and pay legal fees, but there is no inspection for secure privacy. Why do you think VPN's are such a huge thing? Practically every major corporation spies on its users. Where is the government then? The only way to regulate that is to hand over the reigns for control over TO the government, which is 1000x worse of an idea. The only security you can hope to have is to not be stupid and give away your information willingly. Stay as private as possible. That's kind Ron's thing on this show.

@@blazethefaith Yes of course it would be better. Government is a thief. Always has been, in every country. How do you think the USA went from nothing to the powerhouse of the entire world in 200 years? They hated control and taxes. The economy skyrocketed because they weren't bothered by government restrictions. People acted accordingly because the ones they dealt business with acted accordingly. Trusting your neighbor instead of ENFORCING trust is part of what moved it so quickly. If someone can't be trusted, you naturally don't do business with them and you share that information with those around you. That's the beauty of the free market. It's like natural selection. It's the ONLY system that truly works. That is why capitalism is the workhouse of a truly great country. It's the best system we have because it relies on allowing businesses to rise and fall based on merit instead of trying to control the direction is takes.

Urrcreavesh oh no, not the post office! Not like it is highly inefficient and basically insolvent! First off, mail in voting is both highly inefficient and susceptible to corruption so bad choice there. Second, Trump fibbing is not him threatening to cut it. Come on, after 4 years I thought we would learn about this by now.

@Urrcreavesh actually no, the USPS has lost over 60 billion dollars and is highly inefficient. And Trump is against mail in voting due to the problems that come with it. In Detroit for example, over 6,000 votes were not counted because they were late, over 1,000 were not counted because they had no signature, and over 800 voted were of dead people. National Public Radio actually released an article that around 65,000 votes weren't registered because there late.

It's funny how when you live in LA for a while you start seeing so many random places you recognize pop up in movies and TV. Tom's Bistro is an Italian restaurant on Sunset Blvd. that I've had lunch at a couple of times. The only thing they changed was the neon sign. And then of course there's Pawnee/Pasadena city hall.
