Allegri got sacked because Agnelli and Nedved thpught of bringing a more attack minded coach so that Ronaldo can score more (Ronaldo only scored 21 goals in his first campagn) and get a real shot at winning the UCL. Imo as much as I don't like him sacking Sarri was the real mistake especially when he is still on our payroll as we speak. The guy won the Serie A, we saw a more attack minded play and better overall game from the lads and Ronaldo scored 31 goals in Serie A however we still struggled in the UCL and were knocked out by Lyon in the round of 16. Had they not sacked Sarri and let him bring the players he wants that can fit into his system I'd say we'd me much better this year, at least we still could win the 10th Serie A in a row.

The reason why Ronaldo will shine more this year in my opinion will depend a lot on how much he has to run to defend, the last 2 years he has done so much defensively, is just insane he can keep going like that. I really have some hope on Alegri taking this Juve to UCL final, he had 2 years of watching Juve play on TV to read, understand the game and play the right set pieces to take the best team to glory.
