An instrument can only emulate a voice. A vintage legend like Ronnie Laws knew he could not overcome the disadvantage on that night. It showed in his expression: 'Too good'

I love Phillip. His voice is incredible. "Without you in my life" from Switch's album, I still can't stop listening every day!

I was listening to Switch's I Wanna Be Closer, which Phil Ingram actually lead more than Bobby DeBarge, since being the brother of James Ingram, I wondered what happened to Phil. Glad to hear he's still singing.

Years of success writing songs, performing music for films and television. Incredible voice, wish it was on the radio instead of the crap i have to listen to sometimes

Phil Perry does an exquisite version. Phil Ingram the same. What a voice. Ronnie Laws of the Laws music dynasty simply awesome. The 2 Phil must be the most underrated in their careers - unfairly so!
this is the first time I heard this. He sung the hell out of this song. That's why I like switch.
