I found a very seldom visited place on the south coast of St John in the US Virgin Islands. To get to it you need to hike from the bridge up the Fish Bay Gut (what we would call a creek). You will find the bridge along the road at roughly the midway point of Fish Bay. the hike is boulder hopping for about 20 minutes.
There is always about three feet of water at the rope swing and everyone I have taken has enjoyed their time there. It is shaded and cool and I have never encountered anyone else there.
