That Guy has no idea. Ange Postecoglou is a great manager who does a great job. The big problem here is the injury crisis and its simply not possible to change tactics in the middle of the season. Everyone is expecting that he changes everything but thats just not possible to make in such a short time. The 5th place is a great archivement for the first season. There were a few unfurtunate things that hapaned but I agree that something has to change. But change takes time.

Not too long ago Rory was talking about the fact that it was unbelievable to him that the whole league wasn’t talking about how abysmal his own team’s manager is and how he hasn’t been fired. Ange's style is too rigid and requires a sort of pure football, which is a pipe-dream. His system needs very specific players and with transfers both in and out will take a very long time with negotiations and contract constraints. So to my mind impossible. Football is simple really. Create time and space going forward so your attackers have more chances to score, and keep it tight giving your opposition no time and space to score when you defend. Playing at extremely high intensity levels takes a lot out of players and you are just inviting injuries suspensions and burnouts. When you only play one way how long before you’re found out. As a Chelsea fan I welcome being in the European conference league as it’s a chance to win a trophy and it’s still European competition regardless.

Spurs , if they want to be serious contenders unfortunately while Postecoglou is a nice guy and has good attacking intent, he doesnt have the pedigree to take spurs to the next level. Anges style has been easy to figure out and to be honest since kane left the squad is actually stronger, van de ven, udogie, johnson, werner on loan, maddison.... Give him time but he doesnt have the pedigree to take them further. Conte is a serial winner, who in his first season qualified them for ucl and was actually sacked when spurs were in 4th place. Moruinho got spurs to a final before getting sacked. If spurs want to be genuine contenders they need to get a manager with pedigree and back him and give him time....
