As someone that followed Angelina in the years before this performance, I can't even put into words how special it was to witness that moment in her career. She had said since she was 3 years old that she would sing for Simon some day. When word got out in Oct 2019, that she would be on AGT in January, there were many fans speculating what song she might sing, but it was a closely guarded secret. The anticipation was high for months, and then on that night in January 2020, Angelina stepped out on that stage in front of Simon and did...that! There were many fans with teary eyes that night. BTW: It's Angelina's "Angels" also BTW... I know I commented this in the bio on the last video, but since you mentioned her bare feet, I will share it again for those that missed it.... *Why Angelina always sings barefoot* - When Angelina was 6 years old, she was traveling with her grandmother and met a poor girl with no shoes trying to make money on the streets. They talked for a while and discussed their dreams. It was cold and the girl had scars on her feet. Seeing this, Angelina took off her shoes and gave them to the girl. The girl thanked her and told Angelina she would pray for her every day. That day Angelina made a vow to always sing barefoot until all the children of the world could have shoes. To this day, whenever Angelina is performing in public, she sings barefoot as a way to remember that little girl and to remind us that there are less fortunate people in the world that could use our help. Angelina holds so true to this promise that she has sung outdoors in Norway, in december... barefoot. She has sung at a dinner with ex-pres Obama... barefoot. She went on AGT (possibly the biggest stage in the world)...bare foot. She made a promise at 6 years old, and has stuck strong to it for years. That takes a special kind of person.

You see a 13 year old coming on stage, barefoot (see the story below), wearing the suit she made herself with a print from her grandmothers art and she starts singing the arrangement she made herself. As soon as she starts singing she captivates the jury and audience and doesn’t let them go until she is ready with them leading to immense release and wave of emotion at the end from the audience. She has an incredible talent of story telling and conveying emotions: she makes me hear and feel the story. Apart from an inspiring person, she is also a very kind, modest and caring person. She goes barefoot because at the age of 6 she gave away her shoes to a poor street girl. Ever since she performed barefoot in remembrance of that girl and and to raise awareness for poor children. She participated in numerous charities to raise money for good causes.

They do not know those songs and would not like them if they heard them.

She is in a recording studio for the first time, she sang four songs that day but I have only found this song. Remember to turn on the CC so you can see the engineers comments at the end. Also remember she is 6, reading and singing in a second language. You will hear her without any studio effects or production. She started singing when she was 1 1/2, and then when she was around 3 her grandmother Mery Zamani (who is quite a remarkable person herself) introduced her to jazz, and from then on Angelina spent hours a day listening to the great jazz singers like Ella Fitzgerald and Billy Holliday, and working to pick up their singing styles and skills. As a consequence Angelina became an astoundingly good singer of classical jazz. Some of tunes she has covered include My Funny Valentine, I'm a Fool to Want You, All of Me, You Make Me Feel So Young, Cry Me A River, What a Beautiful World, Smile, and Fly Me to the Moon. Check out any of them and you will be simply amazed. But what is even more amazing is that she sings so many other styles, and is the master of every one. This includes blues, pop, and country. Check our for instance her covers of Patsy Kline's Crazy, Etta James' I'd Rather Go Blind, or Whitney Houston's I Am Nothing. You've never seen anything like it.

I love watching reaction videos just as much😊 And yes she is a lovely and caring human being...I've only been listening for about a year and everytime she sings another cover she literally uncovers it and it becomes hers.
