In this video I discuss the whole idea of acceptance and argue that there is no need to accept that you will be poorly for the rest of your life.

Thank you for making this. All your videos have been so great, but this one is what the doctors won't take the time to tell you, among others.

Greatly appreciate the time you took for this video for those of us who are really going thru it at the moment. Hearing this means a lot. Very sorry for your mom, my own mother is very ill and so I can understand where you are coming from. Blessings to you and again, thank you for the positive video 🙏

Thank you for taking the time for this update. I’m sorry about your mom. I agree with you about acceptance and time. Getting back to yourself takes time and is unique to the person. Attitude is helpful too. Sometimes I start to feel unwell after a good stretch, I have to rest etc, but also have to boost my own morale. “You are, ok. You can do this, you are not going all the way back” cheesy but the mind is powerful, for good and negative.

Thank you Matt. Another very good, down to earth, realistic and encouraging video about this hideous illness and how to beat it!!! 7 years later I am almost better and the last couple of years I have been “nearly” better. Never give up, don’t listen to people who think it’s all in your head, (ex husband); believe those who say you will get better eventually, find a vestibular consultant, take your meds, do your vestibular physio, meditate, get some acupuncture and be positive!!! If you have just started on your vestibular illness pathway get back up (when the room stops spinning- and it will eventually); dust yourself off and start your road to recovery. You CAN and WILL get better!!! ❤️🙌🏻⭐️ x

Thanks for this video Matt! It has been over 2 years since my VM went chronic and I've been trying all different meds without much relief (major progress after being bedridden). Like you say here, attitude and mindset are key even on the days when symptoms are high. Stay strong folks! We will get there!

Hi Matt I’ve been struggling with vestibular migraines for over 2 and a half years now and it’s completely turned my life upside down. As a 19 year old I haven’t been able to do many things that a ‘normal’ 19 year old would do. I’ve seen some improvements with meds but my symptoms seemed to come back. I’ve always been curious on what the root cause of VM actually is, because doctors always are quick to give us meds, but never try to find the root cause of what is going wrong in the body to cause this.

I have not. What is it?
@jgoodygoods512
@jgoodygoods512 Жыл бұрын
I am currently using it as my prophylaxis as the triptans didn't do anything (and I felt really weird). The nurtec primarily helped me reduce or end headache component. It has not done much for vestibular symptoms. I do have VM and MdDS so I've got a lot of rocking and spinning and vertigo...you know the feeling. Nurtec is expensive but I think they have a discount program.
