She was isolating them to abuse them, she's an evil witch. That's how an abuser does this, also she hated their mother when they were in foster care, Jennifer just wanted revenge and did it through killing Laila, she didn't do much with Millie because Millie was able to speak and tell.

Mary White Millie could speak about what happened to Laila also- personally I think she was frustrated with the baby- only two years old- required more care- and Millie could do most things independently. I think Jennifer Rosenbaum was all about appearances- look at how wonderful I am taking in these two little kids- but she didn’t really want to take care of the children. Just MHO

Ms Peggy should have never had to accept reduction of her visitations with the children. DFCS is supposed to set the parameters for visits and any changes to those parameters. And, withholding visits as a disciplinary action toward the children should never happen.

Nana never complained, unfortunately. She did what she thought was best. This case is so sad. They were in home after home after home, and like nana said, on paper, these 2 were best adoptive/foster parents, but all previous homes put together turned out to be better than Rosenbaum home. I hate them. 4 months, 1 baby dead. 2 if any more time went by. Really scary who are the monsters in this world. Like Millie said "I'm scared to go outside because there are good and bad ppl, but I can't tell the difference. ".. those words about killed me. We, as adults can't either honey, we can't either. Ugh. We're all so so sry for what you and ur sissy have been put thru. Enjoy ur forever mommy n home. God bless.

Yes! Even with all the dysfunction!! And here this drug addicted biological mom does what we ALL expect her to do.....Want better for her children..... not only did she want better for them, she felt extreme guilt and wanted so much to be better for them. She stayed in contact with them, even through all of her struggles.... for this to be the result. I don't understand how a failed drug test can result in a child being removed from a home....but clear and present signs of psychological and physical abuse does not.

Neva Kendrick unfortunately Millie and Laila had moved 6x times in their little lives... can you imagine the impact, and trauma of just that. Then the trauma not living with your mom and dad, and goodness knows what else they were exposed to in their young lives... It is not uncommon for young children from trauma make up lies and stories as a way to get some sort of Attention... in Millie’s case it would be understandable she had to come up with a way to get attention in a chaotic, dysfunctional upbringing ... 😔

A civil suit has been filed against DFACS by the mother Tessa. And yes DFACS failed these little Angles miserably. Placed them in a home with someone who duped them. @jennifers.3818
@jennifers.3818 5 жыл бұрын
@@robinsmith3987 it was more than the DA thought she looked good on paper. she actually worked in the DAs office and was very close with the assistant DA, even to the point of doing things with the asst DA's daughter, going out to eat with the asst. DA, and other activities outside of work. she told Mrs. Batter(asst.DA) the story of how she was approved to be a foster parent, that she had gone thru all the appropriate classes and requirements, that her case was moving very slowly and asked for help with it. Mrs.Batter then took it upon herself to write letters to CPS workers to get the kids placed. everything Jennifer told her was a lie and Mrs. Batter never looked into it. I believe Jennifer knew frm the start what she was doing by gaining a relationship with the asst. DA and working toward getting pull. bc she had already filed to be foster parent and was denied bc of past history regarding CPS

It’s the little girl’s birthday party. On my child’s birthday all of our guests travel at least an hour to get to us, and I let him spend time with whomever he wishes. It’s HIS birthday celebration. Seems kind of superficial. I feel like so much of this was a horse, and pony show to keep up appearances on the part of the Rosenbaums. Abusers are certainly known to isolate their victims from those closest to them. Narcissistic Jennifer wanted things to be all about her.

Laila's black eye - and Jennifer's implausible explanation for it, that another child at day care had given it to her - should have been a HUGE red flag to Grandma and everyone else. An injury like that is severe, and highly unlikely to have been inflicted by another toddler. Toddlers are incapable of punching that hard. Those poor little girls were left at the mercy of two monsters - but they were let down by many other adults who should have saved them.

I disagree but someone should have said something, i have 6 kids, 2 of my boys were born within a year of each other, and when they were 2 & 3, the 2 yr old punched the 3 yr old and he looked like a boxer had beat him up, he didnt even realize he had done anything bad and the 3 yr olds black eye didnt appear for almost a full 24 hours. But the red flag is “falling down the stairs” and not getting any kind of medical attention. Everyone failed these children, EVERYONE!

The Grandmother would have been between a rock and a hard place, this foster mother was a picture of manipulation, most people who have ever raised toddlers would agree that they are forever in the wars, all legs feet and arms running before they have the coordination to walk, Doctors surgery's/A&E full of toddlers and small children sporting all assortment of injuries, but of course most medical practitioners are well aware which part of the bodies children would normally acquire bumps and bruises and where they do not! the warning signs here were the restriction of the visiting rights of the Great Grandmother by these foster parents who would have had absolutely no authority to do so, as a former foster mother myself we know it is crucial to keep these family bonds open for the well being of the child/children and it would only be discouraged if there was the slightest danger to the child, and then said children would meet family members in a safe environment under supervision of a social worker, the fact that these people were withdrawing these children away from a loving caring family member who had their best interests at heart is when alarm bells should have started to ring.

NO ONE WANTED LAYLA. Her great grandmother said she could only take care of Millie, but not Layla. The Chapman family only wanted to adopt Millie but not Layla.The tumultuous world of Layla seemed to take a toll on the child. She could lash out, sometimes against herself.Layla started showing signs of aggression, fighting with her sister, pulling hair and sometimes throwing herself on the ground. She was afraid of sudden movements. And she hardly spoke at all. But instead of loving her people just didn't want her around. Even the monster Jennifer told the gymnastics teacher that Millie was her bio daughter but Layla was just a foster kid, a 'drug kid' (in her words). layla was failed at every level. The 'before' and 'after' photos are heartbreaking.

They know their clients are guilty and it seems like they’re just trying to make it look like they’re actually doing a good job at defense, however murdering a 2 year old baby... there just is no defense for that. NO ONE WANTED LAYLA. Her great grandmother said she could only take care of Millie, but not Layla. The Chapman family only wanted to adopt Millie but not Layla.The tumultuous world of Layla seemed to take a toll on the child. She could lash out, sometimes against herself. Layla started showing signs of aggression, fighting with her sister, pulling hair and sometimes throwing herself on the ground.

Sounds like this family has a history of kids in foster care etc. Grandma says Tessa ( the mother ) was in foster care. I raised three of my grand children when I reported my daughter wasn’t taking care of her children. She was neglecting her children and using drugs in front of them. I went and got them and called DCF . Mothers and family members are given all kinds of chances to get their children back, My husband and I raised our grand children for 17 years. Was it tough, yes we are older and it took a lot out on us to make sure our grand children were cared for. But I could not have had anyone else raising my grand kids. Sadly many foster care kids are not treated appropriately. I’ve heard horror stories of adults who had been in foster care. I’m not saying anything about foster parents are bad etc, there are some good people fostering these kids . I’m just saying adult family members need to step up and take care of kids when there is a need , instead of allowing them to be raised by strangers.

teresa acevedo Agree but not all families have members that can do it, either by finance reasons, or jobs, or ability, or age. So many reasons. I have one sister, that’s it. This poor great grandmother's HOA needs to be disolved. They couldn't make one exception? One exception that could have spared a helpless child from the horrors inflicted upon her and her baby sister? Shame on them, I hope each and every one of those HOA's committee members fully understand their part in this baby's murder. They could have at least spared Millie from having to be a witness to her sister's murder! Hope they never have a moments peace for the rest of their lives! Millie NEEDED one, just one person (her Nana), to love and protect her, but the HOA has standards and children don't fit in with those standards. Yes, the great gran could have moved, but it's not like she moved into that 55 and older neighborhood with the intent of breaking the rules, she found herself in a situation where her great grandbaby needed protection and she was willing to give it. Shame on that HOA!!!

Jennifer fits the abuser profile. The abuser alienates the abused from anyone/everyone. Especially those close to the abused. Not just to control but out of fear they'll tell someone and/or someone will discover the physical signs of abuse. Another family member who let this little girl down. Heartbreaking. Why wouldn't great g-ma report her visits were being cancelled? Especially for the silliest reasons.
