However, all his shots DO pierce through players, so don't expect that standing in a group will stop Malphas from hurting you! One of my favorite guides amongst your others, I'm not sure if you plan to make any more guides about harder dungeouns like Mad lab, Ocean Trench or tombs which I really need help on but yeah, I'd really like to see one. Pro tip: when Malphas does his shrinking phase, try to hit him from the East or West, because his weakening sickle shots will be shooting away from you and you can go between them and get some more damage in.

In the troom, all you need to do to avoid the paralyze shots in to stay directly in front of the boss. The paralyze bullets only shoot out diagonally.

I know of 2 great ways of rushing :P. #1 Rush 3 rooms and then stop for a sec and clear wats behind u, then onto the next three room and so on. If you don't run into any demons of the abyss then you can keep rushing after 3 rooms. If you happen to come across one of the lava filled rooms with only walkways then stop and go slow. #2 Just run and use ability periodically trying to remember how the minions shoot at you so you can dodge attacks that do more damage than others. And my number 1 rule during the second way of rushing is to always avoid lava and not just because it deals an amount of armor piercing damage, but because if you are doing the second method then the lava will slow your character down allowing you to get hit while passing through the lava and if you are faster than other classes then you will receive more lava damage due to fast speeds.

with maxed staff classes with ep, you can kill malphas in 2-3 seconds if you sit directly on him, so you don't have to go through all the phases and take a few hundred damage at most

emm small mistake malphas's sickle shot doesn't armour pierce just pierce. Pierce just means that if you get hit by it it will go through you like the ninja does while armour pierce just does a set amount of damage.

I dont know how it works but sometimes there will still be another T room even if the lava doesnt stay filled behind you in a t room.
