ما شاء الله عمل متقن والاحساس والفخر يكون مصاف للعمل المتقن "رحم الله من عمل عملا فاتقنه" فحفظك الله وصب عليك من فضل عطائه ورحمته الشيء الكثير وجزاك الله الخير عن عملك المتقن . وللامانة احس بالفخر من اشوف عرب شغلهم كلأجانب وأحياناً افضل من بكثير .

my father worked in Amman for close to three years in the late 1980's. everybody in the family got to go there except me. I got to see him when he worked later in Oman. always wished I could have made the trip to Jordan, however, I was in college at the time and couldn't meet the schedule and had to stay in school. maybe some day... my dad liked to see as many wadis as he could.

Actually the wood I used is beechwood and cherry only for the deadman and the leg vise! It’s not very expensive but worth it for a workbench project. Thank you for your comment 👍

Before finishing you cleaned with denatured alcohol. Then you finished with a mixture of something???, tongue oil, and lacquer thinner. What is the something?

Yes, pure Tung oil and Minwax tung oil finish which is harder than tung oil alone, I think it is a mixture of tung oil and some kind of lacquer. You can use poly or lacquer alone! Just give the workbench some sort of protection.

With your choice of woods, approximately how much did you end up paying for the lumber if you don't mind, definitely looking at building one myself when I have the funds for it 😀

The top thickness is 9 CM, workbench length is 160 CM, width is 58 CM, height is 85 CM, hope this will help. Had to make it small size as my workshop is 6 by 5 meters. Thank you again for watching 👍

@@TheWoodCrafter1 about 30 seconds in you are jointing some wood. Your jointer has the big arm contraption on it. That’s what I’m referring to.

@@WalterBuildsItAll Ok, yes this is a safety protection that came with the jointer, this is the standard one for Europe, in the USA they have a push block for protection that moves forward when pushing the wood forward, I think that the Europe design is safer but I am not sure if you can find it in the US. @@WalterBuildsItAll actually the wood cost is around 400$ + the 150 hours of work 🙂, I do some hand tools work whenever necessary but if machines can do the job faster and I have them then this is the way to go.

Great saw, excellent accuracy, super clean-cut, love the soft start, very powerful also it is made in the UK, dust collection is normal, I use a vacuum and a dust mask, or I will end up breathing dust 😊 if I forgot any of them.
