This area is so beautiful - we're lucky to have this park so close to the city. And it's free!
I hiked the Cedar Trail and the Beare Wetlands Loop. It is an out and back trail which is 5.5 - 6 km in total.
I have hiked some other trails in this park.

The Rouge is a great park. The fish should be running in a couple weeks. Would be a great time to visit again.

Nice 😊 The Park now goes from Lake Ontario to Stouffville currently it crosses over hwy 30 going northeast. I walked it from the Toronto Zoo to hwy 7 a few years ago it’s a pretty place. Warning lots of ticks in this region

Good to know! I have been to several hiking areas but not as far north as Stouffville yet. I also like that the park is free - no entrance fee and parking seems to be free

@@carolannontario yes it’s definitely nice hike 😊 I believe the trail will be connecting to Goodwood and Secord Forest both great locations also 😊 Secord forest is free also and has a Pet cemetery on site.
