We're leaving Koh Lanta on a speedboat to Koh Lipe, Thailand and it wasn't our favorite travel day. Even though today was rough, seeing a little bit of Koh Lipe made us excited to explore what's next!

I did the same boat trip from Koh Lanta to Koh Lipe but we stopped at 3 small islands (Koh Kradan, Koh Muk and Koh Ngai) and it was definitely quite a rocky ride. I stayed at Bundhaya Resort for 3 nights before heading back to the UK. This was my third of the 4 Thailand trips I did back in Feb 2018 where I started at Ao Nang for 5 nights, then onto Phi Phi Don Island fro 3 nights, then only 1 night in Koh Lanta and then reached Koh Lipe. I did visit Koh Lipe a year before in Jan 2017 as a day trip from Langkawi in Malaysia as you know that Koh Lipe is right on the border with Malaysia. Koh Lipe is Thailand's deep south

Great video!!! I would find the boat crowded as well! The views are incredible though! The mosquito net looks like it would come in handy! The food also looks so good! -Rory❤❤❤

You stayed at the Greenview Beach Resort? That was our first resort there! Coming back tomorrow to Koh Lipe!

Ferries have great views but they can be ROUGH! Not every bungalow will be perfect unfortunately. That was a tricky lock! Tasty looking lunch.

Thank you for share the experience of our place.... But the reason we're don't have A/C because the cool air no longer in bamboo cabin and we have the trees hot air from A/C compressor will ruin the trees... TIPS for staying cooler is open the window to get sea breeze Thank you 😘

Oh no you guys, you look like that heat was wiping you out. Gatorade or the equivalent. I’m so sorry you had to sweat through that. I’m praying it improves 100% for you. Looking forward to your next adventures . Rest up. 💗🙏

The heat was killing us 😂😅 but now we appreciate AC way more 🙌🏼

These islands are quite remote from the coast. Installing an aircon is not worth it and it is difficult to transport equipment from the land. The cost of electricity will also be very expensive. I haven't forgotten the difficulty and monotony of getting there by boat. But I can use the sleeping method on the boat because I am a person who can fall asleep easily. Two things that annoy me the most are mosquitoes and the cost of food is about 3-4 times more expensive, but I stayed at Koh Ngai and Lipe.

Ttly appreciate the honesty! Was contemplating no a/c for my fam of 5 bc fewer budget options w/ a/c….but no way in hell will i risk that now…. bc i want to relax and not hear 3 kids whining 😂😅 What a stunning place tho, can’t wait to go!!

There are many room options in Lipe. You should find new resort

Unfortunately we wouldn't get our money back since we paid beforehand. We wanted to switch hotels so bad haha!

ในฤดูร้อน AC คือสิ่งจำเป็นครับ กินอาหารก็ต้องระวังนะครับ เลือกของสดใหม่ ร้านสะอาดด้วยครับ

The Bamboo huts are the worst to stay in a tropical climate, little protection from mosquitoes and no aircon. There are so many places to stay and most are not on the main booking sites! Best to book one night and then look around for something better!

Summer season in Thailand is so hot. You should stay in an air-conditioned room.

i recommend finding another hotel, that cabin is better suited for camper. unless you really like being close to nature.

How does it work with toilets on the boat to Lipe ? Possible, are there any ? 😅

There is not bathrooms on the boat but there is usually one at the ferry terminals :)

@@JacobandJennyTravel But isnt the trip by speedboat around 3-5 hours ? Im not sure my kids can hold it for that long :D hah.. Or do they take you by mini van/bus to a pier closer to koh lipe?
