I attended deaf people, I needed a hermetically environment for the technique I used to develop speech in them. My ear was absolutely sensitive! Your voice is something unusual ! I do not believe on this planet a voice like yours has been before. I absolutely professional. At the same time I feel in your voice something very sentimental, very deep. If it hadn't been for hearing Dan Vasc's cover of this song in celebration of Roy's return, I would never have heard it as I'd never heard of Roy, Kamelot, nor Conception before. Dan's tribute to him out of his enormous respect and admiration for Roy, especially for him being outspoken regarding his faith, made me want to research him more. After doing so, I have to admit that I also now share Dan's respect & admiration for Roy Khan as both a vocalist and as a Christian. I will be looking into more of Roy's music now and sharing with others.

At some point, I found myself don't listen to Kamelot and realized what I loved was mostly you. This song proves that cause it guides me to come back here all the time. Since I was younger, your voice has moved my heart and told me to be a singer like you but the world has changed and there is only small space left for the singers who sing meaning of life. is great how this lyrics an be a perfect ending for all that Kamelot songs about looking for a meaning in life.. this song is basically an Abandoned epilogue.. and is perfect, i can feel that Roy Khan was giving a message on the albums from epica to poetry for the poisoned and here we can see that like he says when he left Kamelot "The good news is; God was there after all".

I had a suspicion since you wrote many of the lyrics for kamelot, you related very much to Ariel and like him, eventually found what you were looking for. Epica and The Black Halo are still my favorite kamelot albums mostly cause I still relate to Ariel’s search and so many songs hit home and voiced my own internal struggles. Loved your passion and theatrics in kamelot. So glad to hear that voice again!!! This song is aces!!! Release a whole album of worship songs, sing the abcs, I don’t care I’ll be first in line to pick it up.

I actually cried today listening to this. I found Kamelot in 2007. In 2011 you left and I lost ay hope to ever hear you live. Finding this song today has brought so many emotions to me today. Now I have a hope that I can hear you singing live again.

When I first saw this video on my feed I was like "Oh another dude that uploaded an old song in the name of Roy to play with our feelings." - Now a month later I actually clicked on it and I am in shock and awe...it is really a new song..after such a long time, Roy is really back. I never thought I could react THIS emotionally just for a new song of my favorite singer of all time

Kamelot's songs, when you were still there, helped me to direct my imaginary to God. Some years later, after you left the band, I started reading the saints books and eventually converted to Cristianism. Your own conversion had a positive impact on me as well. Before my conversion I was drowned in all post-modern filfh and nihilistic garbage. In two ways I thank you so much. First, and most important, for helping me to direct my imaginary and feelings to God, therefore, helping me in my conversion. For this, now I have the possibility of saving my soul. Second, for inspiring me to follow my dreams. Now I am a singer, trying to follow your steps, and wish for one day be able of singing so well as you can. Best regards from Brazil.
