Hey
The rear tire gave up around 11000 Kms, I still stretched it to see how far I can go
But eventually started suffering grip wise as it is also starting to get cold. Though I had bought tire about a month back but just wanted to see how far the tire can go or rather I can go :)
But it was time, one has got to respect time
This part of the vid deals with rear wheel removal, have divided it in 3 parts or 4 if you consider the electronic air pump that was lent to me by a friend for testing.

I would recommend to leave the nut on the screw when you beat it with the hammer, so the thread not get damaged and gently hits

You unscrewed the nut then bashed out the axle to take out the wheel (with sprocket still attached). Is there nothing to be careful about when taking it out and putting it back? This looks as simple as fixing the front wheel.
@leuheanrede
@leuheanrede 2 жыл бұрын
You have raised some excellent points there. Now see, I have other bikes aswell and never had to use hammer to get the axle out. And to be honest I have on occasion even managed to get himalayan's axle out without hammer. The front one is certainly a breeze, but rear one gets stuck sometimes and no amount of coaxing works. But key is to always apply thin layer of grease when putting axle back in. There are plenty of other vids on this channel itself where it has been cleanly taken out and put back in without hammer. Rest is pretty simple. Cheers😉

Hey This was the first change for the rear one. It did stretch it too much. Front still has 4-5000 kms of life left it seems. Cheers :)

Hey mate, I would say begin with the gear shifter lever and make sure it is adjusted properly and not bent. Next would be the clutch lever play adjustment. If there is too much of play, that can lead to clutch not operating properly thus making gear shift harder. Last check for chain slack and lubing. You would be surprised how better the gear shift quality is with properly adjusted and lubed chain. I assume the sound you are reffering to is the lose chain banging about. Cheers :)
