Hi Raj, I'm a great follower of you. I have booked TB 500 Stone black and I'm really really happy on it. But I'm lil bit confused on the color part whether to go for Glossy one or the stone black. Please suggest on how difficult to maintain Stone black. I really love the Stone black TB.Will it be totally faded with 1 or 2 year ? Will it can be re-painted again with Stone black ?

Hey Raj, finally ! Thank you for this review. I have decided to go for a Thunderbird 500 instead of 350 as per your riders comparison.. this will be my secondary bike specially for long highway rides whereas I would keep my Pulsar as primary for office travel n all, I am considering more power this time so 500CC is a good deal to hit on.. Thanks again bro for this review.. ! Cheer's !

Hi! Booked for TB 500cc. Like to apprise me the following: 1. Was the rear view mirror problem solved to avoid vibrations? 2. Fuel tank indicator and neutral indicator problem?3. Gear shifting, how smooth and comfortable? If you may add some more inputs apart from what you explained in your video. Well narrated.

Hey Raj! Do you think any RE's speed will improve if you use a silencer that compresses the noise instead of the stock noisy ones??? because when you stand behind an RE you can feel hell of thump , maybe it loses thr power there! What do you think???
@aashwinchadha10897 жыл бұрын
I don't think so... But It can be a possibility that if u get the thump compressed it might mess up the engine too... I am not sure though...!
@RajeevAcharyaRidewithRaj7 жыл бұрын
Yash Bhamare that's a very technical question, yes this can happen but as per all the measures taken by RE that's the max they could do it so that they do not sacrifice the thump which people are looking for

Raj, what causes the higher RPM and engine speed? is the lack of maintenance or has he done that on our for higher pick up?
@RajeevAcharyaRidewithRaj7 жыл бұрын
Alex Mathew it was done by RE very good question BTW they do it mostly for cold start if they keep it less you might complaint that your engine shuts regularly so they keep it a notch higher

@sattysattu7 жыл бұрын
Hi Raj, why is it that only thunderbird gets disc brakes at back tyres and all other models get drum brakes? Why is RE doing this?
@livingpiano7 жыл бұрын
Because of the increased torque, weight and power of the 500 cc , drum brakes are meant to take lesser load - not very effective rear disc in TB 500

I owned a 1996 500 bullet with a cozy sidecar. It was far from trouble free,losing parts due to excessive vibration and generally lacking the power I expected from the bike in general. But it was the most fun I ever had with a bike every one thought was from the fifties. After owning it for 4 years I traded it for a 1977 BMW 1000 which lasted me only one full year before a major break.Now several years and many bikes later I'm looking at reinvesting in a brand new 500 Bullet. it would be 5000.00$ cheaper than buying a UralWhats happened to Royal Enfield in Canada? I tried to buy one here but the 2006 were unavailable.I got this from the main importer "Thank you for the opportunity to give you a quote. I wish I could help you however we did not receive our Royal Enfield shipment this year. They are getting bigger and are currently in a transitioning period. I currently have a extensive list of people awaiting there return. Would you like to join the list? " If they want my business they need to be available for purchase. I wanted a Cozy sidecar being 64 but I can't get the bike to put it onto.That is so frustrating. I loved the 1996 bullet I had and regret selling it in 2010. Now i would do almost anything to get it back

Hey Raj, I have one question....I will be really happy if you can provide me your suggestions.... I bought a TB 500 and its just been 10 days and I am continuously hearing tappet noise while bike is running and even during idle state....this tappet noise is worrying me a lot and not allowing me to enjoy the actual thump. I went to service center and try to get it fixed but still its not resolved and service center guys says its quite common as its TB 500 - Is it so ? Can you please suggest your inputs, may be what would you have done if situation is same with you. I will be really grateful if you can provide your valuable inputs to overcome this tappet noise issue.

I think there is something in the rain or climate of Mumbai which causes the bike parts to rust.. in ur earlier video of classic 350, the silencer was rusted too. I myself own a classic 350 and I didn't face any rusting problem nor did any of my friends who own other royal Enfields. please clear this doubt for viewers, so they don't think that RE rusts too much.. Seawater typically contains about 3.5% sodium chloride, although the salinity may be weakened in some areas by dilution with fresh water or concentrated by solar evaporation in others. Seawater is normally more corrosive than fresh water because of the higher conductivity and the penetrating power of the chloride ion through surface films on a metal. The rate of corrosion is controlled by the chloride content, oxygen availability, and the temperature.
