@@RichardSites You're welcome! My dad planted the tree many years ago! He also was given a Golden Rain Tree, planted a Southern Magnolia (which replaced a smaller one), Geiger, Shaving Brush Tree, and a Fishtail Palm! He also planted a Red Litania, Fiji Fan Palm, and Carpentaria Palm which the last 3 have died! And the trees/palms that were there when my family moved in there was a Cherry Tree (Which was a Brush Cherry) which was struck by lightning and died, 2 Confederate Red Hibiscus Bushes, 2 Laurel Oaks (1 borders the neighbors yard), a Pink Frangipani/Plumeria (In my neighbor's yard and was planted by one of the former owners about a year after my family moved in), a few Queen Palms (There used to be more but some of them died) and what grew when we lived here was a Cabbage Palm and 2 more Queen Palms that are all still there! There was also a Star Jasmine or Orange Jasmine which was there, and I have 4 Slash Pines that were there! There's also a Carrotwood that started growing in my backyard (1 of them being dead)!

These are a tree that I envy greatly, along with Jacaranda. It’s just too cold to grow them in Ocala where I live.

I like the common name the Flamboyant tree better for Delonix regia, because I sometimes get it mixed up with Caesalpinia pulcherrima, the Dwarf Poinciana which is smaller but a great shrub as well. I see them in Thailand all over the place, so they must be everywhere.
