Queen Ingrid wore it at her wedding 24/5 1935 and it has since been worn by all her female descendants in the Danish royal family: her daughters, her granddaughters and one daughter-in-law: crown princess Mary. The crown princess continues another family tradition: princess Isabella received a gold bracelet on her 9th birthday. Queen Ingrid's mother gave her a bracelet on her 9th birthday and that has also become tradition. Look at the pictures and you'll see that queen Margrethe, princess Benedikte and queen Anne Marie still wear them.
