The anime did 2 seasons, this is the end of season 1, and a two episode backstory special. I liked the anime back in the day. There's not really romance with the dolls, all I saw was him getting embarrassed sometimes. There was a 2013 anime where this Jun and Jun from a future where he never met the dolls have to team up. Neither this version or the completely seperate 2013 version were properly finished. They wrap up their current arcs, but leave open a lot of questions. The soundtrack for the 2005 show was amazing and you can find some metal remixes on KZfaq that are still some of the best metal I've come across.

My recommendations are working, sending me to something so obscure. My sister was into this show when I was a little kid. It was one of the few anime I was allowed to watch because it wasn’t overly sexy lol

Man my Respects for trying to do this challenge. I am not sure if you will actually achieve it. Over 4000 games it is insane unless your life is totally dedicated to it. More with hard stuff like Nocturne or King's Field there. Best of luck.

Haha thanks! Yes this is a daunting and most likely, impossible task. I am faring pretty well with nocturne, so that’s good. But I’ll do my best!

I watched the anime years ago. I can still remember all their names but I quite enjoyed you just naming them based on their color. Story wise you pretty much got it. It is basically Highlander with dolls with a healthy amount of slice of life stuff. I don't remember the anime doing a good job of explaining the how's and whys behind the dolls and I believe it either ended with out finishing the story or did a quick half assed ending that left a lot unanswered. I believe the stories in the anime and manga diverge at some point but I didn't read the manga so I can't say how they differ.

Haha good deal! I’m glad I can somewhat translate and enjoy games we couldn’t otherwise. Especially for the ones we have zero translations for anywhere. Yeah this definitely seems to be more of a silly, fun story where the point isn’t understanding the how’s and whys, but more of a kid having trouble at school overcoming his fears in the weirdest way, and some desert and light heartedness splashed in there

Aesthetically, I like the design of the show and I loved the characterization. The first anime, and Traumend made my 8th grade self cry way back then, and I thought I was pretty manly. Looking back at it though. The ending made _no_ sense for traumend. I'd recommend you watch both the first and second season's but I think the second season's ending felt a bit like an asspull

There's a metric ton of VNs on PS2, most incredibly obscure. You'll definitely need text hooks or AI to get through them. I'm almost certain they number in many hundreds, and most of them sold poorly in Japan (it's generally one of the most niche genres) so there's likely no info on them in English/problems with availability.

Man it’s gonna be crazy! I use the Project PlayStation 2 video here on KZfaq, and every time I watch a bit to see what cool games I’ll play, there’s always a few random VN games…so yeah it’s gonna be interesting
