I just realized, the main character powers up by collecting p*rn mags. His invincibility is called god hand, which causes his right arm to glow. Now I know that can’t be a coincidence, Clover knew what they were implying!

Honestly yeah. I’m glad there are still those with the passion who want to help bring the lost games back. I was so excited when they got to officially bring back City of Heroes and Villains back recently. So many didn’t get to experience it, and now they can! I do hope the rest of the restoration projects can continue to completion so we can enjoy more ps2 games online!

Recently we’ve had a lot of memberships and such and they’ve all chosen games! At this point there’s been so many that we have a years worth of games chosen. Otherwise, I just ask the channel what they want to see next out of a few games and you guys pick!

Honestly you should try some of the side activities on a more casual playthrough in the future. Fishing is tied to two other games, fishing contest and finny frenzy. Theres rewards for both, finny frenzy I believe is the better payout and is a lot more controllable as you just need specific baits to buff up your fish. It also leads to a companion, Olivie, which is the key to a money glitch (lure glitch) if you dont feel like grinding out money for crystals and georama mats. Edit: yeah monster transformation suuuucks lol

@@PS2orDie Yeah, I figured since you're doing such a time consuming series revolving around older video games, I'd imagine that relaxing involves pretty much anything other than more old games hah. The infinite money glitch isn't even possible til late chapter 4 though despite what some guides will say, as you need Olivie to buy 2 lures to start it out. I'm feeding up fish on my playthrough to get there. Last fun fact: the best method for upgrading weapons in DC2 is actually to use plain old battle wrenches, leveling them up with Cedric in the party and built into true battle wrench, then drill wrench (for late game possibly beyond, for even more point-efficient stars) and synthesize them at +5. Synth spheres cost points based on its current level, so a +5 wrench synth sphere costs 5 points, where a +8 wrench costs 8. I'm wording this poorly but it's hyper point-efficient, and you can use your main weapon to kill and switch to the fodder wrench to absorb the experience. Even in chapter 4 it doesn't take long to get a basic battle wrench to a +5 drill wrench with hard capped stats on everything but attack (which would be a waste anyways).

This is an insane challenge dude. But I respect it. What made you want to undertake it? Why the PS2? What about sports titles will you play those? I play my 360 alot lately. Have just started buying games if I like the cover ha. Screw reviews and what. Picked one up today (Section 8). Great wee game, nearly completed it in a few hours. When I was a kid and and my Dad brought me and my bro home a game for the sega mega drive. We didn't care what it was, we had fun playing whatever it was. ps what about difficulty level choice?

Ah yeah screw reviews, grab fun looking games for sure! That’s so cool you and bro played the mega drive, great system! Did you two have a favorite game for it? I decided that current games just weren’t hitting me like they used to, and I wanted to play through old games. I wanted a channel around it and I started with just playing every childhood game and rating them. Slowly evolved into, “whoa what if I play all the games for one system? Is that possible?” I chose between my two favorite systems, ps2 and gba. Ps2 won, the total games seemed insane so I took it on. It was a very light decision at first, but the gravity hit me about 20 games in and I realized that this was my life now. It was easy to accept, even when playing terrible games, I have a great time and I’m excited to play every night! As for sports, one season win that’s it. I’ll grab all of a similar sports line, nhl 20XX for example, and I’ll play them all in a row quickly and make one video on them. Difficulty was really good idea from someone one the channel; play whatever the game defaults to. If the cursor starts on normal, do normal. I liked it!

@@PS2orDie I'm not sure about my bro, but I know for myself Shaq fu. I remember my dad brought it home after work one evening and I was in awe. Had no idea who Shaq was or anything ha. It's known as a notoriously bad game. Only years later I discovered people hated it, which is why I have the screw the reviews mindset now. I'm like yourself even "bad games", I'm usually still able to find some level of fun playing. haha that's awesome mate. An undertaking for sure! I may do the same for the 360 maybe. It's always good to have a hobby like and a purpose.

Ridge Racer V is the game I wanted, and got, with my Day One PS2! It’s such a great racing game, and once I get my PS2 fixed sometime in the next 2 or 3 months, I am definitely revisiting this game! I still have my save from back in the day on one of my Memory Cards somewhere! Still, since an OFFICIAL PSone Memory Card died on me in 2009, I bought myself a sealed Hori memory card last year to ensure I can keep saving for as long as possible! I know there’s a MemCard Pro 2, but I can’t afford one of those right now. Never say never, though!

Figured I'd put in some corrections/info you wouldn't necessarily know without diving deeper: Resistances (aka reduced damage) don't take away additional turn icons, the attack has to miss or deal no damage. And if the target either drains or repels the attack, the attacker loses all press turns The "acting wildly" thing is determined by which Magatama you have equipped. Each have a pool of effects it can give you During a full moon, you generally can't recruit demons, but the demon races that normally don't understand you (Haunt, Foul, and Ooze) can be spoken to then. It also allows you to perform a sacrificial fusion where after you selct your first two demons, you can out in a third and have that demon's exp carried over to the fused demon. This normally doesn't change what demon you're making, but there are a few "secret" combinations that require you to fuse and sacrifice specific demons. The moon phase also determines the odds of finding the rare item in treasure chests, full moon means you're guaranteed to find the good item otherwise there's a chance you'll just find a Life Stone. Lastly, the each moon phase slightly changes the Elementals and Mitama sold at the gem store (he might sell one that's higher level and with additional skills) Figured I'd also mention you create your own elementals and mitama. Two demons of the same race/lineage creates an elemental, and two elementals create a mitama

Haha yes, but 7.5 for me is a solid game. I always recommend it! And yeah it’s sad they added the monster transform and just didn’t put much effort into balancing it. Honestly they should have just done the same thing as the mech, let us build a monster from parts and let her transform and use up one resource. I don’t know, something like that

Me and my brother played all these games many times. Champions of norrath. Has to be my all time favourite. I tried other characters, but the Ice Wizard was my favourite. They become lethal after a few upgrades. Taking out an entire room before enemy can get close. That used to piss my brother off as he was always a Melee characters.

Subscribed, let it be known, this was the video that onboarded me and will send me down a PS2 rabbit hole! It was the original Dark Cloud (1), that I obsessed over, speed running the PS2 demo disk seeing how far I could get on the included content. Only as an adult was I able to compete my childhood hidden gem.
