Күн бұрынShortly after Global Time Attack Finals we made a plan of upgrades for the offseason. One of the biggest parts of the plan was to add ABS to our NSX. We installed an NA2 NSX Type R ABS and went back to Buttonwillow 13CW to see how the system performed. Fortunately, it exceeded all expectations and we were able to beat our personal best that we set at Global Time Attack Finals a few weeks earlier.

Ooooo, that's some unobtanium right there with the Type R unit, and put to good use clearly. Even the vanilla 00+ ABS module is a massive upgrade from the derpy (and heavy) early systems. One of the best mods I've done to my own NSX.

Surprisingly the Type R unit is now easy to get thanks to importers in Japan! It took a while to show up because of Covid, but it actually cost less than buying a regular NA2 unit domestically. 100% a worthwhile upgrade. I removed my abs since the NA1 unit was terrible. Glad to have put this one in its place.

@@RSFuture Very interesting. Supply chains are all weird right now. Hopefully, if Honda/Acura follows through with a 'States-side refresh program that will help with supplies. Otherwise we're back to Fast & Furious overnighting parts from japan, lol.
