Delhi-Amritsar-Katra Expressway is an approved 670 km (420 mi) long, 4-lane (expandable to 8 lanes) wide controlled-access expressway, which will connect Bahadurgarh border near Delhi with Katra in Jammu and Kashmir via Haryana and Punjab.[1][2] It will have a spur section which will connect Nakodar with Sri Guru Ram Dass Jee International Airport located in Raja Sansi, Amritsar.[3] The 397.7 km (247.1 mi) long Delhi-Nakodar-Katra section is National Expressway 5 (NE-5) and 99 km (62 mi) long Amritsar-Nakodar section is National Expressway 5A (NE-5A). Once completed, it will reduce the current Delhi-Katra distance from 727 km (452 mi) to 588 km (365 mi) and the time travel will be reduced from 14 hours to 6 hours, and Delhi-Amritsar distance to 405 km (252 mi) and from the time travel will be reduced from 8 hours to only 4 hours.

Being a resident of jammu I have seen the growth in my region after 2014 either it could be iim,iit,aiims,ayushman bharat scheme,highways I am truly thankful to the modi gov for what they have done in my region Before 2014 it was not the same previous gov abdullahs and muftis were always partial with us the people of jammu region Never ever focused on the development on jammu region People of jammu,our culture was always neglected,90% or state budget was totally spend on the kashmir region But abhi deere hi sahi we r getting our identity back Jai hind🇮🇳🙏

Its already happening! Ludhiana is the largest industrial city in the North, Jalandhar known for its sports Industry, Rupnagar has a large Pharma industry, Bathinda has a petroleum industry. Secondary sector grew by 7.4 % on constant prices last fiscal. The industrial sector has a larger share of GDP compared to agriculture in Punjab

On Delhi Mumbai expressway NE-4, there are illegal dhabas on both sides of the road (specially in Nuh area). They have broken the NHAI boundary wall and have setup restaurants. Trucks park on either side of the expressway near these restaurants and thus make it dangerous for other vehicles. The same will happen on each such greenfield expressway. This needs to be called out so that NHAI takes action. Your channel can really make a huge difference. I urge you to highlight this issue.

NHAI is fully aware of this problem and has informed Haryana Police about this several times and has also requested them to remove all these restaurants because administration is not under the jurisdiction of NHAI, brother.

NH ministry should planting trees in advance in the farms so that they can easily transplant the grown trees in the highways and any other places where tree plantation is required. Nursery plantation takes longer time to grow. Just my opinion

NHAI is only sort of Manager. Building roads, repair maintenance is all done by pvt sector. Even trees r planted by them Budget for that is fixed in tender and Strict implementation is Observed.

Bhai old highways toote huey hain.. toll poora liya ja raha hai. Kmp expressway bahut bahut bumpy hai. Behad kharaab. Local gaaon jaisa road.. Delhi mumbai expressway par 6 maheene mein hi patchwork ki naubat aa gayi. 152 d expressway bhi bumpy hai, smooth nahin. Kya yehi quality hai?
