Comment to around 1.11.30 about forzato: Don't we actually know that repetitive forzati are meant to be a kind of a "crescendo" (or another evolvement) made by the notes carrying the forzato marking?

In Beethoven, the use of repeated sforzandi (not of a string marked sfp) as terraced crescendi gets quirky, especially in his late works. Look at his dynamic markings in the Grosse Fuge, for example, where strings of sf markings are used as very slight accents, a f string is for slightly more forceful accents, ff strings are even more, and so on. Great video!
