I love the whole adventure and freedom of being up in the mountains you can’t beat it aye?! I love hunting but I also like the neat little bits, like watching a more pork take out a moth in the dusk lit sky, or the adventurous feeling of walking back to camp with ya head torch, while clambering along the tops! The sound of a mountain stream and the more pork’s calls during the night! Love the Ruahines, she’s a special place.

another awesome vid mate! the ruahines is a special place for sure!, your just in a little part of it! getting a windless day up in the tussocks is almost as rare as a fiordland moose, but when ya get a mint day or 2 up there .... theres no better place you,d rather be!... keep the vids coming mate really enjoy them cheers

To be fair that’s the busiest hut in the ranges, bookings year round and school trips up there every week let alone oldies from tramping clubs! Plenty of deer around but If you had gone a little further you’d have been right into the them!

Hey mate , what rifle is that ? Is it a fold up , kinda looked like it whe you had it strapped to your pack. Soon enough you will forget about it being new and will stop treating it like a princess. Love your adventures mate. Take it easy.
