Although it is a 7" saw, it could easily replace a large heavier saw without compromising ability to make clean cuts and miter cuts are possible too. The rubi rail saw for 4 ft tiles looks good. I just bought a delta 7” with gravity stand and I couldn’t be happier

When I bought my 10" I sold my 7", figured I won't need it anymore. My very next tile job was in a cramped 3rd floor. Man, was I kicking myself for selling the smaller one. Looks like my next smaller saw might be the Ruby DT-7 Max. Thanks for the review!

Testing run out. Take an 1/8 off on a 24 inch tile and measure it. I have 2 7 in. Lachmonds. The 2nd was a freebie after the 1st just had to many issues. Both terrible on run outs over a 24 length. Table play is the issue. Hopefully the RUBI has that addressed.

Thanks for all your how to videos we appreciate your time and effort. I'm doing a glass mosiac subway tiles strip where the shower valve is. Have you done a video about having to cut glass subway tiles in a circular fashion?

If you’re thinking about re-tiling that garage floor… I know of a tiling contractor in the Boston area. He does terrific work but is super-busy so may not want to do a mere garage floor. I think he’s on You-Tube a bit as well 😀

Most of the 7" saws are nearly identical the diamond back is by far the best small saw I've ever owned or used the rigid is the worst, rubi is more expensive than both and most definitely not worth the price difference, they all use the same motor your paying a premium for the rubi name and nothing else

I'm in the uk and rubi are only them in the US, European regs and all, so it won't on sale in Europe at all, and that came directly from rubi themselves, does look good though

Dusty and dirty as wet saws get, but still as good as new.

What do you think of this compared to the 7” rigid? I know for longer cuts on the rigid it cuts off a little due to the wheels being off the track does it due the same for the rubi?

Why would anyone buy wet saw over manual tile cutter. It's slow, it's messy, it's not accurate, it's more expensive and it's chipping tiles. Maybe I'm wrong

If it only took 10 minutes you should have did it in real time. Some tile KZfaq channels are free knowledge. And some of them are just like infomercials. You guys seem to promote more of the quality of the materials you use then the quality of your craftsmanship. Some people just don't see it!

Dear Sal, I would rather hear the motor running at double volume than your stupid music, it is annoying. Also, if you get commissions and are connected to the company, why would anyone believe you? That said, I went to Best Tile and was amazed how nicely, without wiggle, the tray slides. The trays they usually wiggle even at DeWalt saws. And this saw is really light. I work by myself, walking into a second floor on a narrow turning stair case, by 30 thousand dollars paintings hanging on the walls, with 10" saw, is a very risky business. So I might go and buy it. Just please turn the music off. Evzen EH Tile - formerly North Shore of Boston (Marblehead), now Vermont.
