The whole album is a banger. And the fact that it came out during the BLM marches, there's some very prescient lyrics throughout the songs that they wrote just months before George Floyd was murdered. They made it even better by releasing RTJ4 for free, given that people were really struggling with pandemic shutdowns and facing evictions. These guys are brilliant performers, but even better human beings.

Oh you're in for a treat then because they have 4 albums.. Check out walkin in the snow. Released like crazy enough same week George Fl oyd thing went down and sadly very prescient lyrics. They are both career rappers killer mike since Outkast days been around and El p since 90s too, he is my personal favorite MC and producer he does all the production all songs. Anyhoo tonnns of videos to watch solo and the duo. Oh and how they met look up the most amazing cute way, like a dude introduced them became buds etc

Their 4 Albums are in the Top 25 of All Time for Hip Hop. Might sound insane, but they are a different breed. Mac was special 2 or 3 of his would be there - Faces maybe #1, Kendrick would have 2 or 3 in those 25 as well. Nobody else in Hip Hop can touch what those guys do. There are the obvious ones and yeah, but RTJ are still criminally underrated. People always tell me “It must be music for smart people or something..” Pretty much. I live in Florida. Check those albums out, you will not be disappointed. Every album is a different beast. El-P has the best beats and production in Hip Hop, it’s almost like NIN or Prodigy.

So bring it to mainstream already! We need better rap "up here", teach these new modern little kids how to make better music. We can't go underground all the time. @@chrisrj9871 mainstream has all the money, power, and influence to flourish over underground forever. They arent underground because they choose it. Its because their sounds isnt "mainstrem" so its not marketed. As long as mainstream has the momey to push commercialism, underground wil stay underground. Which i why we go there if we want to hear art. I get what your sayinf, but theres a reason why kids are influenced to listen to commerical garabage. Since its "popular" their enticed to listen to it
