Running Diary 8th June 2024. Long run on tired legs.

The plan for this week's long run was at least 26km, hopefully 27km; the previous week had been 25km. However, it had been a busy and disrupted week (including an additional run and a PT session), culminating in my kickboxing class on Friday night instead of the usual Wednesday, which really tired out my legs.
I did all could to recover overnight, but I knew I'd be starting on fatigued legs. I wasn't even sure I'd be able to do 25km.
I could feel my legs were tired as soon as I started, and was happy just to be able to get 25km and that included some walking. I've not felt my legs as tired as that for a while!
I now need to make sure I'm better rested for next weekend, as I really need to get that 27km!
