Thanks, yes, I wanted to show the original Dublo point switches, push buttons, points, signals, TPO rail etc all working because they look good and are fun to operate - Paul

Great Fun ~ Hard to beat Hornby Dublo, metal, quality, and made in England. I've been collecting them now for about a year, I love those lithographed metal coaches.

Really great layout and as you say in the video a credit to the designers and production staff involved in the manufacture of these iconic 00 gems. I have been collecting these and wrenn items for a long time and never get tired of them! Was fortunate to work at Meccano Ltd as an Engineet up until it unluckily closed in 1979.

Hi David, thanks for your interest in my video, yes, nothing beats Hornby Dublo to put a smile on your face. You are very lucky to have been involved with the history of these amazing trains. I started collecting Hornby Dublo in the 1980's, they were way out of my reach as a child in the 1960's but always loved them from first sight.

Excellent setup. I have Sir Nigel and The Duchess of Atholl; they've never run this smoothly though.

Just be given a Dublo 3 train set plus extras what size is this layout looks truly amazing and if possible could you tell me how I go about wiring something like this up. Brilliant work

Thanks, the table is 2270 mm by 1219 mm ( 8"" by 4"" ) This layout configuration is basically the figure #26 Layout in the Hornby Dublo Book of Layouts which was printed in 1953. I added extra sidings and also two extra quarter straight rails to increase the length of the straight run.
