ducky momo i think it's because the chicken becomes more flavourful from soaking in the sauce instead of being drenched in it :) also if it was dripping with sauce it would affect the taste of the sou0

Jiriya admits he came up with the name for the charater of his book while eatting ramen which Minato and Kushina took for Naruto's name. Also Naruto seemed more upset with the menma in his ramen in road to ninja cause he doesn't like menma. Menma is also the mirror world Naruto's name. Thus the parrellal.

not gonna lie this is one of the best ramen recepies ive seen in a while, the chicken looked crisp, and delicous and moist, obivously the obligatory pickled ginger, spring onions, and half boiled eggs had to be added, but the broth is the main attraction here, adding the perfect blend of veggies and leftover chicken juice rather than just boil veggies in chicken broth, in fact this makes it much more healthy, minus the sesame oil of course, the only thing i can think to add to make the dish better is in fact seasoning the noodles and chicken with salt and pepper (or a "different" seasoning if you want to make it a secret recepie)

I wish I weren't this picky when it comes to meat, when I saw those chicken pieces I was a bit like "eww" because I probably would have cut off some bits (fatty/darker parts) but I also realise that's wasting food... :( I've tried to overcome this but I just can't bring myself to eat it. regardless of that, this looks amazing and really yummy! :)

You could make the recipe a little differently---use chicken bouillon for the broth and use chicken breast/tenderloins to bake in the oven. It wouldn't taste the same. Bouillon has a stronger, saltier taste than making your own broth, but you won't get very good broth with white meat. A ramen recipe I often make has chicken bouillon and hondashi (fish bouillon) as the base. :)

That chicken looks very succulent, I'm going to definitely give this a try. Too bad I can't get my hands on narutomaki, the next best thing I can think of is crab sticks. Oh, and don't worry +runnyrunny999, mixing up the /r/ and the /l/ is a very common (and easily solvable) problem among Japanese speakers of English, because, as you probably know, Japanese doesn't really make a distinction between the two. Instead, they use a sound that's somewhere inbetween the two. Here's a little guide for practicing the two sounds: - For /l/, place the tip of your tongue ON your palate (top half of your mouth), near your upper teeth. Try saying "left". If you do it right, you should feel air passing by the sides of your tongue, with your tongue 'snapping back' at te end of the /l/ sound. - For /r/, place the tip of your tongue NEAR your palate, but don't touch it! If you blow, you should hear a whistling sound. Try saying something like "right". If you struggle with it, try saying a /w/, with your tongue in the position I just described. I'm not a phonetics teacher, but I hope my mini guide helps. ^.^

"Tastes lovely". Change the l's to r's and v to b, makes (r)o(b)e(r)y, which sounds like rubbery. It's difficult to pronounce l's and v's because Japanese don't have it in their alphabet (I know it's not really an alphabet, but I'll call it that for now). For future possible issues, if any Japanese read this, I'm so sorry if I may have offended you! \(°o°;)

A happy new year to you, Runny-san. It was a good laughin' at the end of the video. Ramen (Lamen in France) is a very diversified dish you can enjoy. There are so many different ingredients and tastes you encounter to add to your favourites. Oh, it is mouth-watering me...

Ramen is my favorite Japanese dish of all times. I think on both of our trips to Japan we ate Ramen 80% of the time. One of the highlights was Tsukemen Michi's deconstructed ramen!

An Alien Well on another ramen video a Japanese women mentioned boiling angel hair pasta with, if I remember right, was baking soda to get a close consistency to ramen noodles.

Apart from poisoned air, im ok with that. And poisoned air is not in every city. So the dream of this "naive child" will forever live on, and one day come true.

I agree except Japan (especially Tokyo) tends to have groups of a hundred people crossing the streets instead of just 2 or 3 like where I live here. There are some Asian girls that I do agree are cute but I am more into the partly Asian girls where they still sorta have the eyes but not really and they have that beautiful black thick hair. I know I am oddly specific but I have thought about it before lol. And I love anime too so.....

おねがいします。いいえ。weeb... lol im joking I'd love to visit since many of my family immigrated to America from Japan but you should try to learn some of the culture and language first but if your doing it just for the "ANIME" then thats funny

i tried this with pork. didnt drain the juice back in. i eyeballed most of the stuff, so my broth was a little weak, and used vodka instead of rice wine for lack of rice wine. also, i overcooked noodles a bit. even with all my mess ups, it was deliciois. the meats seasoning was amazeing. al in all, a rovery experience. you did grate on the pronunciation. youre accent just added to the charm of youre joke. thanks a bunch runni.

i have watched plenty of your videos for the past 5 year. but this is my favorite. makes things super easy. anywho for people who can't get freshish ramen noodles. soak dry angel hair in cold water for an hour or more and boil in a pot for 1 to2 minutes with a teaspoon or so baking soda for every quart of water in the pot for noodles similar. after drain and rinse under water, warm to hot water is better.
