Rush live at MECCA Arena in Milwaukee, Wisconsin during the Grace Under Pressure tour. This show was recorded by recurring concert taper Rick B, who also recorded Rush in Chicago 1978 and Chicago 1981, to name a few. This is among one of the best sounding recordings from the GUP tour, and overall one among the best known Rush bootlegs. Old bootleg versions of this recording, familiar to most people with the name "Experience To Extremes", is a higher generation copy of this tape, and copies the Three Stooges intro and first minute of The Spirit Of Radio from the official GUP Tour video's soundtrack. With this direct transfer from the master tape, The Spirit Of Radio is complete, but the Three Stooges intro was apparently not recorded.
Rick B publicly shared this direct transfer of his master tape in 2015, however the audio clearly needed a slight bit of EQ work to get the sound to its fullest potential, without a ton of unnecessary "remaster" work ruining the integrity. There was a nice sounding version of this master tape on KZfaq for a while, but the uploader deleted their videos and channel sometime within the last two years. The "Rush-Archives" project, courtesy of By-Tor X-1 and Grace, present our own version of this master tape which we believe is the "definitive" version of this concert for both listening and preservation purposes.
