To anyone has ever seen Rush live, their opening "movie intros" followed by their hard-hitting opening songs/medley were a definite rush to the senses (pun intended) of "the party is starting"!!!

Never mind the amazing musicianship, I love seeing crowds before smartphones actually living in the moment at a concert

I saw my first Rush concert in 1986 I also was there for the final show in 2015 I saw R40 and... I LOVE R30!

I live in St. Catharines, just a stone's throw from Lakeside Park. What an honour it is to live in the backyard of one of the greatest drummers the rock n' roll world has ever known.

Never gets old. Actually it gets better every time i listen.

Of all the tours I saw them on, when I saw THIS I damn near lost my mind. To OPEN the show with a medley instead of close with, absolutely brilliant. The crowd was so pumped up, and the band looked like they were having a ball. I bet it was Alex's idea, because he really shined.

So privileged to have seen this show in England all those years ago! And i finally FINALLY met Geddy last year at a book signing.. If you're a Rush fan (you wouldn't be watching this video I guess!) You would understand how happy that made me.. Been a fan since 1986

Alot can get close , but NO ONE will ever duplicate the master ... this is why Alex & geddy will never play as rush ...

RUSH is the only band that would precede a song medley with an album cover medley.

No other band could slip multiple songs into a medly like this with so much ease and precision as rush.

I saw this tour in 2004 at Radio City, NY. This opening salvo blew us away. (my other half was with me). I was up in the 1st row of the Balcony. Foe those that know Radio City, amazing place for a show. Can't believe that was 18 years ago.

It really was unfair to concentrate so much talent into one band.

Saw the band many times over the years, a few times in Toronto. The first time I saw them there I was in the balcony, Alex side, Maple Leaf Gardens, and of course there were ushers all over. The one nearest us was up there in years, a white-haired gent, and wasn't paying very much attention to the crowd (there wasn't much going on). He was paying attention to the band and head-bobbing right along with the music. It was really fun to see him getting into it. I was in my twenties, he had to be pushing 70.

This was my 3 kids first concert ever. They were so young. To see the wonder & amazement in their eyes as the band opened up. Took me right back to an early April evening in Syracuse NY's Carrier Dome 1983 for my first concert ever. Signals

Rush has a great sense of humor! At some point of every Rush concert, you couldn't help to laugh.

Saw them 9 times live, always a great show, especially in the 80s when they used a lot of laser lighting. Forgot where my car was after one of their shows.

I got this for Christmas one year on DVD. Best part was it was after my dad hooked up his surround sound present. We jammed to this like a real concert. I didn't go to R30, but I loved R40 slowly watching the stage and music go back in time. R40 was incredible, and made even more unforgettable as their last. Thanks for the memories Neil!

I got up to Passage To Bangkok, then unaccountably, my eyes started leaking. Could it be because I know I'll never see them perform it live? Such a badass song, the live crowd really appreciated it.

One of the all time best rock trios to grace a stage one of a kind band never to be duplicated ever bin following them since highschool I'm now 65 I'm also a drummer so Neil was a great inspiration for me

I haven't been listing to a lot of Rush lately since I'm not commuting anymore thanks to Corona. It's cool to hear the power and precision of this band again. This little session is EPIC!

A blink-and-you'll-miss-it performance for the ages. Could only be pulled off by a band as masterful as Rush (a trio nonetheless). And kicking things off with Spirit of the Radio RIGHT after?!?! Sheeeeesh this crowd must have been transcending to another dimension.

I've seen Rush so many times that when ever they would announce tickets were on sale automatically I planned to go buy them.

The medley of songs they blend in here is a thing of musical mastery..so much creativity and versatility..

So thankful I was able to see them back in 2013. One of the greatest shows I’ve ever been to. No opener. Just 3 hours of RUSH

I wish I appreciated this more at the time. They're relaxing into the groove of each tune in the meddley and that's cool. All I could think about in the years around when it was released is how Neil got rid of his awesome set, the kind I had a relatively faithful duplicate of in my house.

I just realized, at 2:05 when the dragons hatch and sing, "Hello, hello, hellooo..." that was sampled from the Monkees' TV show, episode S02:E03, called "Everywhere a Sheik, Sheik." I'd stake my life on it!

Takes me back to Cleveland in the 70's, best F'in show + the Rapid engineer was hitting our joint & taking swigs off the bottle of Jack on the way back to Brookpark station!
