@Red Dwarf Sauna is a Finnish invention. They do cold dipping across the Nordic countries I believe but 100% in Finland. Especially during the winter when you cut a hole in the ice ("avanto"). I personally preferred jumping in the snow instead! Yes, I'm a Finn 🇫🇮

@Red Dwarf they might do something similar, but the issue with the method they were using there, is that there really isn't any kind of regulation for the heat, we don't really know how hot it actually got in there, and to much heat can of course be dangerous, so it isn't necessarily something you just want to play around with. Also you can find people doing that kind of thing all over the world, it is one of the reasons that it isn't all to uncommon to find saunas in places with swimming pools, used to do it all the time as a kid just for fun, but you don't actually stay in the sauna that long, just long enough to start sweating and feel a bit hot.

Cryo chambers are actually a frequent sight for athletes. There might be something in them. Others I agree feels complete bull crap.

I mean, 99.9 % percent of what he did is absolute bullshit, but breathing 'in and out of' different body parts is pretty normal practice when working with the body, for example in theatre. Comedy like this and general stand up does seem to really help with my depression and anxiety - probably because laughter FORCES your brain to release happy juices. Much more reliably than my medication does. the problem is, there isn't enough stuff or enough comedians to keep it working day after day.
