Russians are not better necessarily per se, they just use a different technique and styles just like all the other major countries like France, and the U.K. do. All have different methods of teaching and all produce amazing dancers. Just because you are of a certain nationality does not make you an amazing dancer. What makes you a better dancer is the dedication and heart you put into your craft :)

I doubt that a six yr old spends enough time in the studio to have reached a pointe level yet? Overall great video, more aarm control would have pushed it to AMAZING

How I wish the camera focused on the little girl's feet when she was doing her entrechats. Those are not easy to do, but when done correctly they look so cool.

I just love the medium sized girl in the long sleeved leo! She is amazingly beautiful in her dancing.

Wow I'm sorpprised because it was told to me that pointe work should be avoid for girls under about 12 years-old. Can you tell me if that was mistaken and why?? thank you!!

we can only try to achieve perfection, but we will never get there. The closest we come to perfection in dance is within the soul. And to me, that is what dance is about, not trying to make it into a career, or lifestyle, but to free me soul.

Any great traing would be from the four main schools of technique. Vagonava, checetti, R.A.D. and Bournaville/Danish. If you work hard on the basics and keep pushing yourself everyday then you will overcome fear and be able to dance beautifully.

In the U.S. and Europe are teaching our Russian teacher. They need to go. Russia is still far from coming to us to learn. But our teachers - the best, it's a fact. Isolation and classical approaches - has made a perfect technique.
