Glad to see you got the last Evil 3 before Jamil was booted from his [formally] own brewery. Fantastic beer. Don’t buy any of their beer anymore since Jamil isn’t apart of it. Thanks for releasing the entire talk with Vinnie!

Brilliant video. More like an hour long lesson in brewing. So many tips, both enlightening and affirmative, I learned so much. Also liked how knowledgable Vinnie was of the British market and the difference between US and UK/European malts. The guy really knows his stuff, now so do I! Point if order, Biofine isn't widely available in UK and there appear to be questions over its legality in the UK. Vinnie mentioned Murphys though and they have plenty of clearing products available.

It seems most people just want to watch 5 minute youTube videos. This defies that logic and provides maybe the best opportunity to learn the most they will from one of the top brewers in the business. Great job (not sure how you pulled it off). This was the most insightful one hour I've spent learning from the pros, and I would have given you guys one day to discuss more. This is a must video for anyone serious about taking their game up a notch. Thanks a million from Tacoma, WA for this video. -DT

A question regarding u.s brewers switching from Crystal malt to Munich malts, Vinnie mentioned Crystal 30-40 (which is used in the old pliny recipe) I assumed he’s talking in lovibond and not ebc? and he said about using a Munich equivalent, so would that mean they use caramunich 1? That is 30-50 lovibond.

Thanks for this video! Interesting hearing about his take on dry hopping from what i gather Short contact time At 20c After fermentation and a yeast dump Where we have adapted an approach of adding dry hopping at near end of fermentation to mop up at hop creep we are in effect needing more hops as the yeast is going to consume these oils very surprised but the low amount of dry hops and looking forward to testing this out cheers!

Loving this series. The only thing I might suggest is a update on brewing terms like Mash, boil, wort, whirlpool etc. I have a decent understanding on it but there might be a lot of people who follow the channel who just like the taste of craft beer but not be really familiar with brewing terms. Not a criticism at all. Love the channel and content atm but just a thought I had.

Blast from my past seeing Vinnie C again. Bought my first kegerator and filled kegs of Blind Pig at his modest first establishment in Temecula CA in the mid 90’s. He moved on from there, I moved out of CA and lost that connection. Thanks for sharing this. Feels like I just got the connection back!
