“У нас очень большая страна” would be the only phrase I could get, say a month ago, without checking your translation. Now, thanks to you, I can understand far more. President Putin’s voice seems to have come into focus to me in the last month. I nearly memorized his День Победы speech yesterday, which was shorter. Let me see what I can do with this one.

Hi, thanks for the videos, I find them very helpful. Could you tell if Putin's Russian is good, i.e. could it be taken as a model by someone learning the language? Sometimes a native speaker of a language may have a strange accent that would not be suitable for a learner to adopt.

Hi, yes, Putin´s Russian is good, that´s exactly why I use his speeches in my lessons. He speaks with a neutral accent and pronounces everything clearly. I do think that he uses too many difficult words but I guess, that´s what you have to do when you´re a president :D
