Very nice Bronco! I love the paint job, very straight. What paint/color did you use?

Hey man where did you purchase the fluid film from and roughly how much did you run through to do the frame? Plan on doing it on my ‘97 ccb long bed 7.3

www.fluid-film.com/retail-locations/ Here is a link to their retailers. I was fortunate enough to get it from them directly at a discount after reaching out to them as a big fan of their products. I used more than I needed to because I put it on super thick, but almost the whole gallon. I think a gallon and some of the rattle cans should be enough to do most trucks. The Black kind looks way better on the frame than the original kind.

Sorry, I also have a question about the Fluid Film. How did it look after you drove the truck on gravel roads/sand? Did all the dust and sand stick to Fluid Film and look crappy?
@GRAPPAHOLICS8 ай бұрын
I appreciate you asking. If you go straight to the beach it will stick and be noticeable but if you give it some time to tack up, maybe a few days it won’t be as sticky. I’m happy with the results especially for how easy it is to apply. Only place I need to touch up so far is where my AC drips water on to the frame.

Yes dirt and road grime will stick. Would you rather have a dirty or rusty truck?

No regrets so far! I plan to make a video about the seat swap after I install the rear Expedition captain chairs.

I have a 1988 how much did you spend on yours so far ?
@GRAPPAHOLICS Жыл бұрын
Nice! I should make a video about that, but I paid $7k for the Bronco with 200k+ miles and $3k on the paint job. The 2in BDS lift was a couple hundred and I was sponsored for it and the tires. So about $10k give or take and I’m working on updating the interior.

@@GRAPPAHOLICS definitely would be great video so we can expect how much to spend when buying one …where did you go for the paint job I got a estimate and they told me 10 to 15k 🤢.

@@alexanderb4795 I’ll have to make that video sometime. My paint job was done at a local mom and pop collision place and I did a lot of prep work like removing the mirrors and door panels. Checkout my video playlists and I have one called OBS Bronco that has videos about that stuff. The paint job has some issues but it’s good enough for a beach rig

Fluid film doesn’t last very long.

I like how reversible it is. You can touch it up or strip it off as needed
