I so love the history you share with all us. It amazes me how there is so many old buildings and such still standing today. UK is one place I would love to visit in my lifetime.

I cannot tell you how much I am enjoying the historical context that y'all are putting into the side cigar fishing I'm really enjoying that. I think being able to see some of the beautiful historical sites as well as what's coming out of the waterways is extraordinary. Thank you.

That box Steve found is a savings box,my grandmother had one it was a box shaped like a Bible .it was locked and used to save for you're church.i have it now and it is exactly the sam shape🙂

I have a collection of miniature padlocks that were used for various things. Like luggage, jewelry boxes and books. I even have the matching keys. I love the one my deceased uncle left me. It was magnetic. It had a slender oval "key" that had a special magnetic signature that only fit that particular lock. I even have padlocks small enough that I made them the clasp of some silver necklaces.
