Rusty Junk YJ Build: Part 1

This time at the Quick Speed Shop I have gone completely bonkers and am starting a cheap build on a rusty junk Jeep YJ Wrangler. Why? Why not! Formally the donor Jeep for the FC-150 project that didn't materialize I'm stuck with a half disassembled, but lifted 1990 YJ Sahara edition. So, off the junkyard, buy some parts, and start building! Can I do it for less than $500? I hope so.

Really excited to see this one playing in the dirt. I am a jeep guy. someday I'd like to find an old CJ but till then I will have fun offroad in my JL. thank you for the video

I got 6 Jeeps, but this one is the only one capable of wheeling (or running) right now. I think it will go a lot of places. Not spending any money on it, just going to do things like remove the sway bars and build some body armor out of scrap steel. Should be cheap fun.

I rebuild the body and frame and made a wheeler out of it. Go look at the playlist.

I started working on my 1960 Willys Wagon 226 Continental flathead Jeep. The 1969 CJ5 painted up like a M38A1 is done.

"I don't want to scratch the paint"?!!! Maybe you should have gone for the whole blue Jeep in the junkyard. You have other Jeeps out there. What about going electric on one of them - a new adventure with a whole RIT campus full of brainiacs to help you on it! BAM!!! What's the sedan in the background? Future project?

Be a cold day in hell before I build an electric car. The sedan is a Pontiac with Buick nose, but its sold. Those other Jeeps are future projects, but need total rebuilds. This YJ is something I can do fast and cheap.

It's a '38 Pontiac with a '38 Buick nose. It's pretty rough, no drive train. My buddy is buying it.
