As an actress she is brilliant, as a person she is amazing. Her life and vitality are a real breath of fresh air, she is so full of energy and very articulate. Ruth really lived every minute of her life. A lesson for us all I think.

Julie Harris also lived around the corner. It was a paparazzi-free zone in those days and everyone ignored celebrities except when the celebrity, Julie Harris in this case, sail hello first.
