Spikes have literally been one of my favourite abilities to use in the game, it has so much utility and people are sleeping on it

same as you monsieur! since the start, mastered the mobility with light armor and canceling the rolls. Had people even adding me after duels or pvp because they couldn't lay a hand on me (tbf, I couldn't kill them either at my current low level). Just switched to medium armour and the added aim stability you get from having medium armour rolls is quite soothing. I'm just worried that our indie build of rapier/fire staff will become more mainstream. Not sure how used to being a glass cannon others are though, so they might get discouraged once they feel a meelee weapon lay its hands on them :D

Thank you! There are quite a few things not working currently for the fire staff so I’m currently not using it as much but when it gets fixed I’ll be doing commentaries about it

@@liquidmojo1439 would be cool if they made an assassin type character using the prone/crouch mechanic (no marker above character) so rogues had to use the terrain/foliage/fauna to sneak up on un observant characters

Great Axe is definately one of the most busted weapons in my opinion, but I've been managing to deal with it. They're super dependent on AA's, so as long as you practice and can have good movement, they're not too bad

The Sword & Shield don't have as much synergy as the rapier does with the fire staff because of how slow the weapon plays. It would be better paired with the ice gauntlet in my opinion

I am doing sword/rapier, dex scaled with sword so it is fine and you can block crazy good combos, sword has 3 stuns, you can actually pair with fire staff if you are planning to use the shield for stuns and cc not actual damage! so it would be 300 int and 100 con

The idea behind fire staff when paired with the rapier is damage. Ice gauntlet gives you CC and mixup options but firestaff is based around Damage and mobility, and with the light armor passives not working, rune of helios not working, empowered fireball perk on gear not working, people taking 40-70% less damage than they should because of resilient being bugged, it makes it a pretty easy choice for me to use Ice gauntlet at the moment. Once they fix more bugs I'll definately be running it more but nothing works for it right now =/

There are definitely more optimal pve setups you can use. This is a pvp focused build

He mentioned that it benefits from the ice gauntlet passive. If you get an ice debuff on your target with the gauntlet and then swap to rapier, you can get a 35% dmg buff to the frost damage from the gem.
