Your videos have been very helpful and motivational. I just started digging into a fiberglass hybrid rv with the glued foam paneling. I was almost in tears removing the water damaged paneling from the foam walls little bit by bit. So came back inside and low and behold, one of your videos popped up showing how you had persevered and scraped the panel off haha. Its next level the attention to detail you take to do a complete restoration on these rv projects. Haven't seen anything this in depth or informative on you tube. Most i see are folks just painting the cabinets and calling it a day. Awesome work 👍

Once again girl you n I are on the same page…Bluetooth blasting praise and worship music 🎶 and me with my power tools and a prayer learning new ways accomplish my projects! Only thing you were missing is YOUR INSTRUCTIONS VIDEOS IN THE BACKGROUND! Hahaha thank you again! Now I’m on day two and my whole upper bunk above driver seat is open to the aluminum frame of my class C majestic! 😱🙏so I’m off to Home Depot to pick up supplies! 😂 say a lil prayer for me as I go back to see how you frame in and install yours! 🙏🙏🙏🙏😳😇😍

Just got a heartland that needs work but I figure if I can get it put back together by factory spec with some sweat equity it will be a great thing to make memories with before the kids don’t need us anymore. Love the jam session. When you get a chance check out NF HOPE. great music to work too. ❤. Thanks for the understanding on how these are built.

Watched your, before and after video from this camper, and today, I found a big water damage in the back of my camper, but since I had watched your video, I didn't freak out, knowing it's possible to fix, without "to much" trouble. Back to work after Easter tomorrow, so no time to keep going then, luckily after raining for almost 2 weeks, it seems it will be a bit better for a couple of days at least. I felt lucky for changing the interior, so I found that problem, as it was hidden behind an airgap panel (let's air flow between the wall and behind the cushions) Which is probably why it hasn't been showing that much dampness in the vagon itself.. Will watch these clips now, to see if I can get enough knowledge to actually fix the damage myself. 😊

My r vision bantam 19. Has 20" doorway and a 25" wide fridge. My flooring so far was simple to remove as it was only made of luan sheeting glued to that white styrofoam. I pulled a 4x7 section ans everything was wet and that was after drying it out for over a month. When i pulled.the next section it was still wet between the foam and the 3/4" sheet of plywood they have running down the center if the camper. I ran four 2x4's across the width of the floor as there is nothing even there at about 12" from the walls. Then i put three 2x4's, one center and two bolted to the frame rails so each 15/32" sheet of real plywood would have full support from wall to wall. Im not putting any foam ir insularion under that floor so i can have that 1 1/2" of air space to let that new floor breathe to avoid any future water damage. Also i applied thompson water seal to every piece of wood i installed. As i cantnpull the fridge ect. Im doing the front half first, then i move everything to the new floor and then i can replace the back half of the floor with out any headaches. My flooringnwas easy to remove and to install unlike the tough job you are having wuth that beast. Everyncamper manufacturer is indeed different and most arrnbuilt by cheap unskilled, low paid labor. I know because i used to be one of them at a.plant in plymouth indiana building mobile home toter truck beds and mirror assy's. Great video girl. Keep going !

I am sure you have done or see this before .. but usually the walls are supported and screwed into the framing right there at the bottom of the wall…if you leave the rotten wood… work it out and frame it and resupport with a hard bonding resin before installing new floor… won’t take long …

Wow! Nice job. I like to use a big dust-pan to pick up all the scraps on the floor to dump into trash bag. Works for yard trash too. Are you replacing the whole floor? Big job. Looks like you know what your doing. Oh, consider kneepads. Your knees will thank you are the end of the day. Thanks for sharing

Haha yes I do that too! Except I probably need a bigger dust pan for this job 😂 Not replacing the whole floor, but probably more than half of it is gone now

Great video! I am doing a similar repair on our camper. but I'm wondering how to replace or if I should replace the membrane/weather stripping on the bottom with something more sturdy or a different material altogether, do you have any suggestions?

I usually just keep the original. As long as it’s sealed and maintained properly, it won’t leak. If it’s personal preference you can change it out, but anything will leak if ignored so just make sure to check it every 6 months or so!

Water leak on the front cap. Leaked from both sides, and a strip right in the middle. The middle strip caused water to leak down the front and underneath the floor
